I don't get Eric's reaction. He knows Tony held back from Kristen on purpose, and even sent her away, and this is his response? Also, with that time frame, HIV wasn't a death sentence by that point. I know it's a plot point for a soap, but dang.... sometimes Eric can be clueless about stuff. Lol.
Believe it or not, an HIV diagnosis was still considered a de ath sentence by many unfortunately. Ppl still thought u could spread HIV by drinking from the same cup or using the same bathroom facility as someone else. Getting the diagnosis would be a shock factor, I understand that. But there was still so much misinformation still. That said, Eric is (and always has been) a fool.
Sally is always the bright spot of an episode for me even when she plays a supporting role in the story. DC is such a great actress. From her good-heartedness at wanting to honor Tony even when he was being obnoxious, to her instant vulnerability when she thought Tony was callously dismissing Macy’s death, she really made me feel for her. And I adore that her love for Macy was so deep and true that, even in death, she will risk her company’s bottom line rather than let her daughter be disrespected.
I feel the same way! Sally is the one part of these episodes that I _never_ fast forward. It's like you say, even when the scene isn't about her, everything she does resonates emotionally, whether it is her enthusiasm about successful designs, her compassion for her employees, or her grief over Macy's death. I think Sally is one of the few characters on this show whose grief feels truly realistic. In most cases, when a character dies, other characters grieve and then move on as the storylines move on. But not Sally. Instead, her loss has become a _part_ of her. She can still experience joy and happiness, and is functioning quite well, but she has this painful hoIe in her heart and in her life where her daughter should be - like a phantom Iimb.
It had the potential to be a good storyline. But was rushed and written poorly. So I really don't care. I care more about Tony saving Sally's company with his designs (which is why he was there in the first place) . They literally dropped that whole thing
And once again Éric feels important by involving himself into one of his daughter's life... If not he will still be one of the most useless characters on this show
I really wish we had seen more of Tony working for weeks and months as a fashion designer in Spectra, rather than having Sally just tell us about it. I really can't get invested in this character bc his reason for being on the show in the first place was just glossed over for a 5 minute romance with another character I care nothing about (played by an actress who will never grow on me it seems). Meanwhile, not Eric schooling Tony on having "one lapse of judgement" that could k I ll his precious boring daughter. Eric's whole existence on this show has been a series of lapses of judgement, some that almost k ill Ed him or other ppl .. he doesn't even own his own company now, thanks to his constant lapse of judgement. 🙄 If Eric was wise, he'd go get himself tested, and take his sons with him. It really needed to be Steph, not dinosaur hot pants Eric, having this conversation with Tony. She'd have def done it with much more class and understanding.
Same here. I am way more invested in Tony saving Spectra than I am in Tony's instant romance with Kristen. Mainly because anything with Sally >>>>> pretty much everything else going on right now (with the possible exception of my IifestyIe guru Little Eric).
@@annieo6527 I actually channeled by Lil Eric yesterday at work during a particularly uninspiring meeting... Eating grapes and staring off into the distance while ppl chatter about nonsense around you, is, actually, quite zen lolol. I'm going to do this more often lol
Good for her. She should go on vacay and forget those ungrateful rug rats. Unfortunately Eric was still there tho. Funny enough, if steph came asking Kristin the same thing Eric was asking, she'd yell at her mother and accuse her of being in her business.
Hasnt this episode/ day been really long? First " good ridance Brooke" pool party at The Forresters and it was obviously evening there at the pool. Tony running out on Kristen, Kristen following Tony back to his home and finding out the truth. A little later, they are all at Taylor' s office, Kristen getting tested for HIV. And at the same night appearantly, a what to seems like a party is planned for Tony at Spectra?? How does this night add up🙄
Eric was being very ignorant and closed-minded with this conversation with his daughter. Booo Eric! 😠 He probably caught mono or HS1 from Brooke when they got married and never even knew it!
Eric of all people should know what it's like to fall in love with someone who has an STD. After all he was married to Brooke.
He's upset with Tony, when him and his 2 sons literally shared the same woman 🙄
He should take a note and carry them ALL to get tested...
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
They all played Brooke tennis, or maybe ping pong……

I agree!
Totally

Tony isn't making ANY friends on this show fast. Isn't he ??😂😂
I feel for him, but at some point he's just going to have to take his piIIs and get on with his life. He's not actually dying.
People keep revealing Tony's illness like it's their business or place 🙄🙄
exactly

Well said! I absolutely love any scene with Sally ❤
Sad for Sally 😢
I miss Macy and Sally❤😢
This scene could have been better if Eric Forrester Sr repented his sins because this is clearly sins of the father.
Kristen is the nicest of the 4 Forrester kids
We’ll Bridget also. She’s a doormat but she’s a sweet kid
In laps of judgement is Eric's speciality. He does is all the time. His whole life is full of it.
Here we have one more never ending evening...
You are right, just made q comment on that, hadnt seen yours😊
This Tony storyline is so boring
yes but back then wasnt because aids was selling
I don’t care about the Kristen and Tony storyline at all. But that’s mostly because of boring Kristen and the actress who plays her!🥱🥱
I wish they had spent more time showing Tony's story as a fashion designer b4 rushing into this Kristin "romance"
Very real storyline 😢 I hate how it is hurting this beautiful power couple 😢 and eventually their families
Does anyone care about the Tony and Kristen story?
Idc it moved to fast
I don’t care about it at all. Just seems like a filler story out of nowhere. Don’t care for either character. 🤨
It had the potential to be a good storyline. But was rushed and written poorly. So I really don't care.

@TriniT21 Very well said. I was really feeling sad for Sally when Tony said he was quitting.
And once again Éric feels important by involving himself into one of his daughter's life... If not he will still be one of the most useless characters on this show
He's involved and still useless
Back when Eric had a backbone.
I really wish we had seen more of Tony working for weeks and months as a fashion designer in Spectra, rather than having Sally just tell us about it.

Stephanie must have gone on vacation on this evening.

Tony’s legacy on the show:
AIDS, AIDS, AIDS, AIDS, AIDS *randomly adopts Zende who is barely mentioned for the next two decades* then disappears. 👏
What personal forrester is Sally talking about that dumped her?
Eric, who pretended to propose to her just do she would show the designs she stoIe from Forrester.
Eric. It was a horrible storyline. If I thought I hated Eric b4, that story made me dislike him even more.
What a insensitive man Eric is!!! Poor Tony is suffering and Eric treats him like that. Tony needs compassion, help and love.
2001.
eric is being heartless like when he married brook
Eric Forrester is so unlikable.
