Speaking as a HUGE Dynasty fan since the 80's I can tell you that I can watch this show present day just as I did back then and each time pick up something new. The writing for this show was BRILLIANT. The Dynamic of Alexis and Sammy Jo for instance: You have a wealthy, albeit devious, socialite and a poor, educated, girl from the trailer parks. Yet they neutralized each other. Alexis uses her wealth to annihilate her foes, yet Sammy Jo is immune to her antics and fights back in her own way.
Carmen Frisicaro She was barely out of her teens here,at least 19 or 20 here and very new on the acting scene but Aaron Spelling saw magic in her,by Dynastys 3 season she was also cast in TJ Hooker while still doing Dynasty.By the mid 80s she was considered one of the hardest working players in prime time TV and she was still young.
