2024 Lexus RX500h F Sport: Start Up, Test Drive, Walkaround, POV and Review

- 👋 In todays video we check out the all new 5th generation for the Lexus RX500h! This trim is the F Sport which means that it's fully loaded! Lexus has finally updated some of the technology as far as ditching the track pad and giving the RX a massive touch screen system! The rest of the interior is pretty similar to the outgoing model, but still retains a premium feel!
The most obvious exterior change is the hourglass grill is a lot more subtle and is integrated nicer than having the entire surround being pronounced. I think it's a much nicer look and works well with this car! Aside from that, not much else is different, so it's more of a redesign than a major upgrade!
This 2024 Lexus RX500h is also a hybrid which allows it to have a crazy range! For comparison, I used half a tank in the week I had the Lexus 350h and put right around 300 miles on the car! For the money, I can definitely see going with the hybrid because it gives you the best of both worlds! This is not a plug in hybrid either, so you don't have to worry about trying to charge it, just fill up and you are good to go! I love that technology and it blends two systems together well!
For the rest of this 2024 Lexus RX500h, the exterior has nice lines and the interior has plenty of space! It's a very nice daily driving SUV that gives you the space you need and the tech you want without going overboard! Very smooth and quiet as well!

What is the gas requirement? Is it 93 Octane? I know for RX350H, you can use 89 Ocatane.

Bought a brand new 2021 RX F Sport and now I’m dreaming of this 500H F Sport. But I definitely have my eyes on the LX 600 F Sport, the 2024 GX Overtrail and the 2024 Toyota Land Cruiser limited Edition.

Picked up a 23 RX500H F-sport 2 days after it came off the truck last February. While it had minor issues that come with a new model. It was copper crest and only 1 pre owned was available in a 400 mile radius. Guy who drove by my house daily wanted it and paid me 10k over list on it. Picked up a GLE and MB has nothing on Lexus and trading it in on an RX500H this week haha. They have 23 leftovers available and discounted so it's an even swap.

Hello, can you tell me what it is and what is the reason for this sensor/lights just above the steering wheel, the back? purple lights.
The red lights right above the steering column? That’s the sensor for facial recognition. If it detects your eyes aren’t paying attention it will alert you.
@@BrosFOURRSpeed Thank you for your agility and correct information. In my country, Brazil, this is the only item that is not included in the RX. It is an important safety item. Is this item often uncomfortable, for example emitting beeps? thanks again.
Oh gotcha. You can't really see the lights with your eyes. The camera picks it up. The dash probably has a message that pops up

Why is the RX 450H around 73 grands and the RX500H arond the same price? The RX500H has more performance. I would get this one instead of the 450 H.
because its a plug in hybrid system with a more intricate battery placement. the performance is barely even half a second difference, for the gas mileage you'd be saving you really wont notice a difference in performance... both of these cars arent racing sport cars anyways

@Lucky-gk7ez As someone who had both an RX500H and GLE. Benz has nothing on the RX and it's a downgrade to get a Benz over it. Sold my RX500H after only one used was available in a 400-mile radius and made a 10k profit by doing so. Bought a GLE and this week trading that in on an RX500H.
Guys get them USED!!! like there is a lot of low mileage used RX500H fully loaded for $59k-61k get those ones. I will never waste money buying a new car again once I'm ready to upgrade my 2019 RAV4 Limited.

@@ibrahimabah3693 it has a hybrid assistance, but you can’t charge it externally. The gas engine charges it.
I wish Lexus made the 500 not in a hybrid mode.
Note to self: It is not necessary to push and hold the power button/start power. A quick punch is adequate.
Either push and hold or a quick tap. Also depends on if your foot slips or not, so whichever way works with the driver is fine.

Way to expensive for what you get! This is a cross over not suv. A 4 runner is a suv you know something that can actually off-road and tow stuff.
