If people thought this "Making of" clip was great, they should watch the film with Roger Corman and Mary Woronov's commentary attached to it! Educational and entertaining at the same time. The best 75 minute party I've ever attended!
Wowee, how brilliant is this? One of my all time favorite movies, seen it so many times, and this video gives such a great insight to it. I'm amazed that those cars were from used VWs. As for the low budget, who cares? If any movie ever proved you don't need a massive budget to make a great movie it is Death Race 2000. Corman was a groundbraker.
Wow!! How have I never seen this before? I was a projectionist at a drive in, ran this movie when it was released. For years after when they didn't have a new movie to send us, they'd send us this one again. I've probably seen it 100 times or more, I still watch it some times. Thanks for a great movie!!
David Carradine was probably a bad choice considering how expensive he was and how bland he played his role in that movie. Everyone else looked as if they had a great fun in it.
If on,y it had had a bigger budget with more cars in it , DEATH RACE 2000 could've been far better , it was a good film but it could've been fantastic , Just don't bother watching Death Race 2050 it's awful
Death Race 2050 was definitely a step down from the original, but there is a fun, so bad it's good charm to it. It's definitely way better than that bloated, Hollywoodized Jason Statham remake.
