According to what they've said, they arrived at the studio at 7:AM, and weren't done till past 11:30 PM. They had 3 makeup artists working on them.

I have watched the behind-the-scenes of the making of this video. Kidnap the Sandy Claws is another fun one or What's This? Then there is always the OOGIE BOOGIE'S SONG.

I’m so happy that you like them. I was nervous about recommending it. It is exactly like it’s name. Voice(singing) play(acting it out).. I am really enjoying discovering all this new music with you! Great great great reaction..

Yeah this was a massive undertaking for the video shoot. According to Geoff (the bass) there were 10 stops in between for make up. Great reaction! 😊

Incidentally if you want subscribers new to VoicePlay to see the video in full you don't need to filter them as VP never take down videos. Same with Geoff. They appreciare the attention and do sometimes watch reactions. Earl, who was blue in this one, does have a very lovely tenor voice but can go very very high when required.

This group is amazing and definitely my favorite of all the a cappella bands.
Some absolute must sees from them are Oogie Boogie’s Song, The Dragonborn Comes, Halo Theme, and the Wicked Medley. They’re all incredible for different reasons

They did a few songs from the movie.
You need to do "Oogie Boogie Song"

I'm a huge Take 6 fan as well. Voiceplay took a lot of inspiration from them, and Geoff, the bass, considers Alvin Chea from Take 6 one of his biggest inspirations as a bass singer.

Jarrett Johnson, who has sing with Take 6 and Michael Bible, also collared with VP according to the captions on their Just Sing

Thanks for another great reaction to Voice Play! I am so glad you understand and appreciate their talent and all they put into their work. As you may have been told before, they are from Orlando Florida and worked performing at Universal and/or Disney theme parks starting when they attended college in Orlando. Geoff worked for Universal which included the annual month long Halloween Horror Nights that is featured by Universal (Love his solo channel on Halloween). Aside from their amazing singing and harmonies they do all of their own arrangements (Geoff or Layne), costumes, makeup, lighting (Eli) and production in their own studio outside the Orlando area. They have a different style than Home Free and Pentatonix as they are theatrical and put so much attention into all of the details of their production. They love their fans and reactors so they make it easy to post and share their videos without worrying about blocks and copyright issues so you don't need a screen for Voice Play or Geoff's solo work. Voice Play, Pentatonix and Home Free are all good friends and supportive of each others different styles and approaches to acapella music. Home Free and Voice Play competed against each other on season 4 of the "Sing Off" and toured together on the "Sing Off" tour afterward. I definitely agree with Wolfcreek Smoke BBQ's comment about checking out their "Boy Bands In 5 Minutes" medley-- you would love that one!

You already reacted to Queen in five minutes, you should check out Boy Bands in five minutes. All of their stuff is great.

Subscribed! I really appreciate that you were talking about how earlier music forms the base for new exploration. Something old you might enjoy is Ian Anderson in the band Jethro Tull, either Minstrel in the Gallery - Live in Paris 1975, or Bouree, AVO session, 2008. For something new I suggest Nightwish -Ghost Love Score, Live at the Wacken music festival, 2013. There is quite a bit of crossover with Voiceplay and Nightwish fans. Geoff Castellucci and Floor Jensen both provoke dropped jaws and stunned expressions.

Oh NOW you've gone and done it! you mentioned boy bands!! Check out their "Boy Bands in 5 Minutes" and "Butter" (BTS cover) You will LOVE IT! And as long as you're on the Halloween stuff, listen to Oogie Boogie song. Voiceplay are the theater kids of acapella. They are so fun!

To paraphrase a popular movie, "This is crazy. This is Voiceplay!"

Yes, this was a massive undertaking, with 10 or 11 stops for makeup. Geoff, the bass, Layne, the beatboxer, and Eli, tenor, all have insane ranges. Eli has a solid 4 octave range and Layne and Geoff span 5!! You may not have noticed, but that last part, the pumpkin so-o-o-ng, lasts an insane amount of time finally taking a breath at the end.
They are very well known for their intricate harmonies. For something less theatrical, you might want to check out their cover of Elvis‘s I Can’t Help Falling in Love With You. It is absolutely beautiful. For another change of pace try Carry on my Wayward Son, or their Wicked medley.
You mentioned Take 6. If you watch their Just Sing with captions on, it will show you some of the people that they have collaborated with. One of them is Jarrett Johnson who also has performed with Take 6 and Michael Bublé.

    LFR FAMILY PLUS-
You were talking about families singing together. Please check out Nickel Creek “Reasons Why” or anything on their self titled album from 2000! They are 2 brothers and 1 sister singing such pure music…some is only instrumental, but when they harmonize and blend…perfection!!

Thank you for another great reaction. Please do a reaction video of Voice Plays version of Dream on by Aerosmith. Voice Plays version is much better than Aerosmith's.
