Day in a life of Indie Developer, Building an open source Library

In this video, I'm tackling a significant challenge in building our Mac app that records screen activity. We've had issues with hiding the cursor and excluding webcam previews in our screen recordings.
1. **Existing Issues & Limitations**: Exploring problems with the old Aperture SDK using AV Foundation.
2. **New Approach**: Discovering macOS Screen Capture Kit as a potential solution for macOS 12.3 and above.
3. **Building an Open Source Project**: Developing a native Swift module for screen recording and creating a bridge to Electron.
4. **Outlining the Open Source Library**: Detailed thought process and steps in creating the Electron Capture Kit GitHub repo.
5. **First Breakthroughs**: Successfully recording the screen and next steps for compression and post-processing.
🛠️ This project was a roller coaster of emotions and intense coding sessions, and I'm happy to share my progress with you. From creating the GitHub repository to setting up the native Swift code, there's a lot to dive into.
