I remember back in 4th grade, my music teacher will have my class and other 4th graders sing this song along with all the other song from the play “Annie”. Strange enough my funny and cool 4th grade teacher also would constantly sang this song for fun while we were silently reading it doing our work. Ever since then this lovely song has been stuck in my mind and still is.
My grandpa used to play this on his keyboard when i was lil i miss him so much 😢

Oh gosh this is such a beautiful rendition, Paul. It takes me back to my childhood. Cant wait for the sheet music!!! By the way, have you seen "Anne with an E" on netflix? If not, check it out. It is such a beautiful and emotional series BUT it also has some of the most wonderful piano tracks as well. I'd LOVE for you to do a Mashup of those... or even individually. I cant even imagine the joy that would bring. Anyway, HAPPY NEW YEAR and thanks for a year of beautiful music and entertainment!!! 😁😁🥳🥳

Loved this so much! I printed a sample sheet, can you tell me about the 1st measure where you play the treble "d" note twice please? It appears the sheet music has 3 "d" notes, Thanks so much! I'll keep looking for more of your music, I love it, GREAT job!!

There is a tie over the first two D notes ... see that curvy rainbow shaped line connecting them .. that means you don’t play the second one again .. you just hold it and count it .. that’s why it looks like three d notes on the page but you only hear 2 and I only play 2 because of the TIE! 😁 hope that helps!

April 3, 2023. My 45 year old sister used to sing 🎶 the shit out this song when she was 5-7. She had an aneurysm last week. Craniotomy. Slowly healing. I played this for yesterday and I fkn broke down. Heal up sister so I can bug you about silly stuff….
