If I want to make is little bigger how much should I chain when making first base chain? Or is increasing height of it enough to make it bigger? Also if I just increase the height do I make the straps the same length as in this video?

The video cuts out and skips a part around the 6:02 mark...do you do 2 HDC into that stitch marker and then single HDC across to the other end?
