    thank you so much.
    It's very nice to have answered me. It seemed to me that I understood that but I was not sure of my English and I did not see very well the meaning on the video. Thank you again for your explanation and for your video.
    Sincerely Eric.

    Just installed mine today, holy sh*t does it make a difference... Next up- uprated intercooler and a few other tweaks. I swear a defender should not move that quick😂

    Hi, new to Landy's, just recently purchased a 200Tdi 110. Was curious about the grease, why did you grease the pin? Many thanks

    • @m111kca4
      @m111kca4  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It moves up and down. I normally grease anything that moves and the original had some kind of grease. Wasn't the same as I used but I don't see it being a problem.

    smoke? There are no pictures of your exhaust or the difference in smoke - also what happened to the milage?

    • @m111kca4
      @m111kca4  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Milage didn't change much at all, might smoke slightly more than before but nothing too bad.

    if theres oil in the boot diaphram it means your turbo oil seal has failed and the turbo is not working efficiently - youll also find oil all through your intercooler and intake manifold as your engine will be sucking it from the turbo into the intake

      Thanks for the information I'll have a go at rebuilding it. Would a 300tdi turbo fit?

    • @freecrocs1499
      @freecrocs1499 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@m111kca4 from what ive seen its pretty easy, you can usually keep the turbo housing and buy a replacement compressor wheel or seal and chuck it in-youll need a big ass pair of circlip pliers though! otherwise you might be able to find a good 2nd hand whole unit - i believe the 300tdi and 200tdis have different manifolds

    • @freecrocs1499
      @freecrocs1499 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@m111kca4 you can also get cheap mitsubishi turbos (td04) that will bolt straight to the 200tdi manifold and they are much more powerful and efficient - lots of people change their 300tdi manifolds to 200tdi ones so they can fit these turbos to their engines, worth looking into id say!

    Hello.
    Sorry I did not think about the translator.Your video is great but I'm not an expert in English.I have a Land 90 300 TDI.My question is in what direction you position the cam or pin the bogus part is this towards the before the bonnet or to the cockpit.Thanks a lot for an answer from you hoping that the translation is correct. Cdt Eric

    • @m111kca4
      @m111kca4  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      KLEMM Eric hi thanks for the translation, the pin is at the front of the pump, so you always face towards the front of the car. ( bonnet or bumper) the cockpit would be the wrong way. Thanks

    What would be interesting is if it affects fuel consumption and if how much?

    • @m111kca4
      @m111kca4  ปีที่แล้ว

      Fuel consumption is all depending driving style, driving normally at 50 ish I would say it's much better as you don't have to drop down as much. At 70 plus and heavy acceleration it's a lot lower so all depending on driving style.
      I wouldn't go back to the standard one unless it's in its maximum spot on the pin but even then the boost pin is better. Just make sure you get a hardened one, some people sell them as hardened and they're not.

      @@EM-te1hc Can make your clutch slip if its old, maybe more strain on the turbo. I don't really see a downside really, the extra pull is really nice. discovery needed a new clutch after this was fitted and the 90 could do with one also but I think they wasn't far of needing changing anyway.
