As a United fan, I genuinely believe that ETH was not given enough time. And this season we were developing an identifiable way of playing, the game against West Ham exemplified it. Basically build up from the back with either an Onana long ball or Onana->Martinez->Bruno progression with Dalot as an inverted fulback. But that West Ham game also showed how many Man Utd players over the years have a habit of just deciding to stop performing. 2 seasons, with 1.75 of that being under Glazers, is too quick for any manager for a club that Ralf Rangnick has described as needing a football equivalent of an "open heart surgery". I am not at all excited about Reuben Amorim because I feel that we are just restarting the 3 year cycle all over again (despite him being an obvious managerial talent).

I think they waited because they knew that other teams were interested in him and probably didn't think they would get him over some of those other teams plus eth won the fa cup so I think they thought he might bounce back this season with the right signings which as a club they got wrong again the fact he plays a back 5 probably played some part in that as well since they knew they were going to lose varane and that the CB's they have aren't good enough to play in a back but I think the main reason is that so many other teams were rumoured to interested in him

Wtf How is the 2 trophies he won gonna be remembered most out of everything that happened in the ten hag era. Nonsense they came 8th and got slapped repeatedly who cares about a carabao cup!’n
Because no-one remembers who finished where in the league if you didn't win or get relegated. In 2005, Liverpool won the Champion's League. Where did they come in the league? Hell, Liverpool won the FA Cup in 2022. Where were they in the league? Trophies are, and always will be, the most important thing.
@nathanstanier7625 trophies are important andI’ll give him the fa cup because he beat Liverpool in the quarters and man city in the final!!! But they came 8th!!! And now they are in 13th but hey as long as they win the carabao cup it’s all happy days!! There were no signs of improvement if anything they were regressing, they haven’t win a game in the Europa league all season so far, but again if he can bring the mighty carabao cup back to old trafford build him a statue.

I think people are just sick of having United shoved down our throats tbh
Trust me United fans would rather it not be like this but the media knows how to get attention…
@ that’s a fair point too but doesn’t change the reality. 21 articles about Amorim on sky sports football site the other day. It’s insane.
I think that Rudd van nistelrooy will be a better manager
no
Yes we do ❤️❤️❤️❤️
love the canadian flag in the back lol
Why is everyone assuming Amorim will play 3-4-3? If he is a good manager he won't. If he tries to force 3-4-3 then it means he found one trick but nothing else and United are probably in trouble.
Even Mancs hate Mancs, which is hilarious... Not so cocky now, are you!?
I just hate united fans
Hated Adored Never Ignored
United fan here 👋
yeah but what about Leeds United?
Lmao who's here after 4:1 😂
Wtf How is the 2 trophies he won gonna be remembered most out of everything that happened in the ten hag era.
Nah he can't. The cycle will simply happen again in 2-3 years. #allmanagersout
If all managers r out, then there will be no one to fix the club
He just beat Man City 😂🎉
I hate Liverpool and LFC!!!!
i speak for all fans and say we never Want to see them win anything.
All their fans are glory hunters growing up.😂
But everyone also hates Manchester City lol
