This first came out years ago. The whale was separated into the small pen due to a serious injury in the wild. The beluga was actually released into the wild once strong enough. He was hit by a boat so it took nearly a year to rehab him

Belugas like this are generally and mostly born in captivity so her survival rate if released is low due to being used to the care of keepers. Ocean Parks / Aquariums are mostly made up of animals who are either born in captivity or was injured in the wild and can't be allowed to go back again. Sea World is shit but this isn't Sea World. I think this is either Ocean Park or Aquaplanet. Ocean Park and Aqua Planet do not and I repeat ... they don't train their dolphins and whales to do shows ... they normally just swim around and have fun with guests (some Ocean Parks have interactive man-made beaches where the guests can go and swim with dolphins). At least in my experience, I haven't seen any shows that include Dolphins and Whales in Ocean Park which I am grateful. Don't worry about the space too because this room is just for feeding, medical needs and social interactions with keepers

Belugas are special because they have flexible necks that can turn independent of the rest of the body. Of course they are also very intelligent.
They're alot smarter than parrots and dogs. So they can understand at a 6 year human level which is very impressive.

Deborah Mclenaghan yah unfortunately these type of sea world places exist. St least we can spotlight some happy belugas expressing themselves.
Belugas like this are generally and mostly born in captivity so her survival rate if released is low due to being used to the care of keepers.
Ocean Parks / Aquariums are mostly made up of animals who are either born in captivity or was injured in the wild and can't be allowed to go back again. Sea World is shit but this isn't Sea World. I think this is either Ocean Park or Aquaplanet.
Ocean Park and Aqua Planet do not and I repeat ... they don't train their dolphins and whales to do shows ... they normally just swim around and have fun with guests (some Ocean Parks have interactive man-made beaches where the guests can go and swim with dolphins).
At least in my experience, I haven't seen any shows that include Dolphins and Whales in Ocean Park which I am grateful. Don't worry about the space too because this room is just for feeding, medical needs and social interactions with keepers
