It would be great if we could a Unreal Manny rig and animation exporter. I'm hoping we can move away from FBX as a standard here and get something akin to USD for rigging.
good video, thanks I would like to point out Houdini is not very noob friendly in terms of videos. I am looking for series of simple videos addressing basic gaming tasks (now with APEX): - import premade character and rig it using APEX - retarget mixamo anim to our model and export everything to lets say FBX - adjust mixamo animation etc etc the information is there I think but not very easy to find or it is buried in those videos addressing advanced topics
@@priyeshpv i was surprised cos that is the bare minimum. like all other nodes, they could provide those auto configured nodes for users themselves to customize if they want to. it is the best way to start than all the complexity they demo'd.
This new feature set is in beta - it is the building blocks that will become auto rigging tools down the line. Many users will be able to rig without touching APEX directly - others will want to dive in an use it it their advantage.
Wish the video was longer.....there aren't alot of Apex videos.
Have you checked out the Max Rose videos: th-cam.com/channels/gU3BXDQkQFuGsCHt3lUUzw.html
nice video, but I need to figure out how to build my own APEX character first 😂

Would you say the same thing about a Nuclear Powerplant? "This plant isn't very noob friendly!".. JUST KIDDING!
APEX is new and beta. Maybe easier to work with kinefx instead.
was hyped up for APEX until it launched. lol
