Maguire is not a captain material!
We know Ole believes he's learnt from SAF, but SAF was an excellent man manager that would get the best out of players by playing to their mentality and what he needed. If SAF's advice to Ole was to go out there and play with energy and desire, to get a shot off etc, then that one fragment from SAF was what he thought it was that made the manager. He must've also seen SAF's ability to appreciate everybody and believe in them in every position, but he wasn't one who was on the end of a harsh decision, and doesn't realise SAF could see what potential was in a player and that if he wasn't good enough, he'd be gone.
It's just conjecture. But all I ever hear from Ole is this energy and desire mindset, and a complete lack of tactical awareness. I just can't fathom why he's so stubborn and oblivious.
I'm struggling with that too. He must know he hasn't got the tactical awareness to beat any of the big clubs, or even a low block from a small club.
OGS might be a good people person but you can't keep players motivated when they are losing every game. I've been very appreciative of his recruitment but his team selection, strategy and tactics are SHOCKING.

Why is Ten Haag’s name not even being mentioned? He’s probably the most suitable manager for us who we can get right now. The next managerial appointment is as important as getting rid of Ole and post-Fergie we haven’t got that right once.
