I my opinion VRTs aren’t special anymore. A well tuned all Motor VR6 with all the gadgets you can get and a custom ECU is way cooler. Also it sounds much better than any VR with a silencer , I mean Turbo on it😁 There are a lot more ways to get good power out of it N/A today, compared to 10-15 years ago. There a e.g. cnc heads that can give you around 22% more torque and HP throughout the whole rev range. Would really rather see a really good NA Build, instead of just another Turbo conversion. Nobody expects a stock looking Vr6 Engine to be quick, but everybody does by seeing a Turbo snapt on to it😬
I remember seeing a video on IG I think haggardfab or someone did on these control arms for a mk4 r32. The joint on them did not allow full travel compared to oem spec. I forget if the problem was for bump or droop.
The fables stiff really is just👌 it makes the car look so decongested with the smaller tubular framework , 🤘 And his work really is so nice! Looks great man 😝👍

Also next time for the passenger side it might be easier to undo engine mounts and push engine up with the stand and then u wouldn’t have to drop the subframe Just a thought might help
I'm not sure how much of an advantage you're going to get trying to corner balance with air ride - or how well they'll be able to dial it in versus say, if you were static on coilovers. I guess they could play around with your air settings on each corner and then you'd just have to mark it or write it down so you know where they got it best so it's an easy adjustment when you're at the track or romping around on the back roads.. Having tubular control arms (and fresh bushings) is a plus though! I have tubular arms on my Mk4 R32 with air ride and it's nice and tight handling wise - as well as allowing for much more (and much smoother) travel when airing out and such. win/win! Some do complain a little about feeling more of the road and the heims getting noisy after a while, but at least they're replaceable and/or serviceable (in some applications)...plus, I like being able to feel more of the car/steering in the wheel anyway so neither of those 'complaints' ever got to me. (Some people are just super picky - can't have it all.) I have the rubber boots for added heim protection on my OG IDF arms - does Fabless offer these as an option? Just curious.
the front engine beam is. around 6,4kg. stock. add the engine mount to it. maybe 6.6 kg FAb one was around 3,5 kg orso? if memmory serves me right... .. ps you might wanna put some heim joint boots on. if you daily miley in bad wheater? ( EU is kind a rainy and such xD) sucks to do alover again cus of worn items

So because your car was originally a 2.0 you had to use the 2.0 tubular control arms and crossbar? Asking because mine is a 2.0 and will be swapping a VR6 and want to do the tubular pieces as well
Josh Stephens yes because even though I swapped in the Vr6 I still have the 2.0 subframe so I needed to use the 2.0 control arms so they fit properly. The front cross bar is completely separate and works for almost any engine in a mk3. If you check the cross bar on their website you’ll see the fitment list

The parts look nice but the prices are insane. You should let people know what they actually cost. I know you probably didn’t pay full if any and that’s cool but be clear about prices etc.
