    This series was way better than I expected. It captured horrific ontology of vampires and the twisted campy wit of gay men and some of the issues of race between gay “inter-racial” couples.

    Jacob Anderson's role as Louis de Pointe de Lac is captivating. I was shocked that he went through eight rounds of auditions to land this iconic role. The script seemed as if it was crafted specifically for him. I would have loved for Jacob to delve into why he felt Louis was a kindred spirit. Which part of the script made him feel like someone had gotten inside of his head and mapped out the battles he's had with himself, as well as the moments where his anxieties were triggered. I also loved that they talked about the origins of Jacob's middle name and the hairstyle trends he wore throughout the show's multiple timelines; for the simple fact that I loved the twists he wore as the older, much more seasoned Louis in 2021/22. It was a decent interview and I loved that it introduced new people to this adaptation of Anne Rice's book. Thank you for having him on your podcast, and I hope to see you interview Mr. Anderson in the near future.

    Out of all the interviews I’ve seen Jacob do to support this series you are the only interviewer who could not be bothered to take the time to learn his co-stars name. It’s Sam Reid, btw, and he acted his ass off as Lestat the Vampire. Sam, from Jacobs own lips, has become his very best friend and one of his most favorite people he has ever met. If I were Jacob I would’ve been insulted by your lack of research and out of hand dismissal of my bestfriend and co-star. These artists put their blood sweat and tears into these characters and they both deserve recognition and respect. Do better!

    Enjoyed this but it's an odd choice to include a speaker/interviewer who didn't even watch the show (and when he said it to Jacob's face I got such second hand embarrassment). I thought watching the show would have been a basic requirement for media especially when you're having a 12-minute interview after the finale is out. Some of your questions were good but this conversation on the racial aspect of the show had a lot of potential so it's a shame.

    • @KarenHunterShow
      @KarenHunterShow  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      no...it's Friday. I watched and they are on every Friday. I watched...so it was my interview.

    • @klowwwww
      @klowwwww ปีที่แล้ว +13

      @@KarenHunterShow Yea your questions were great but the middle portion was a tad sloppy. This is meant as friendly constructive criticism, I didn't mean to upset you! The questions that the other two hosts asked were too generic and didn't give Jacob a chance to give deeper insights and didn't help promote the show either. Watching the show would have enabled the other two to ask better, more nuanced questions. P.S. it's spelt Louis with a S.

    • @dynamicpisces
