So I exit early, and invent an eyeline with my eyeliner, that's not where my eye really goes. It supplies a lifted, friendlier appearance. I bring this up, because nobody ever talks about evening the weight of the tilt of your eyes. Honestly, there's a lot of women with resting face, that ppl wouldn't even notice have resting face if the tilt was corrected properly. -- I'm on a mission of peace, ending the era of resting face. ❤️

I just want to say and let you know how much I really appreciate these types of videos. I also believe makeup does have a theory. And I have to admit I have gotten lost in the Instagram trends. So it's so refreshing to see someone that shows how to wear makeup for everyday. Not makeup for theater or camera's. The Wet N Wild Photofocus eye primer is my absolute favorite! There isn’t any coverage but your eyeshadow will stay on all day. And keeps them completely oil free!

Re: the first lady with large pores. You mentioned using eyeshadow primer with the same consistency as MAC paint pots. What about putty primers like Tatcha or ELF? Would those do the job as well?
Polly Weifenbach i would say that they wouldn’t be the same, as the Tatcha and ELF ones are more that slick smoothing texture, whereas the eyeshadow primers tend to be a little bit more tacky. The smoother ones don’t build up as nicely as the MAC style ones! I’m curious to see what his response will be!

They're more like 'pore fillers' which she said doesn't work for her and he said they work okay on small pores, but not large. The eyeshadow primer would be much better, in the way that they prevent more oil from seeping out of the pore- as on the lids that is what they do. The elf pore filler is similar to what she said she had on in the beginning Have a great day!!

I have been using your under eye concealer method for the last couple of weeks-- no triangle, just a few dots here and there and blend it out. IT'S MADE ALL THE DAMN DIFFERENCE. So true! I'm super oily in summer but in winter I'm using foundation for normal /dry skin and I don't use much powder cause no matter how much I moisturize my skin in some places it tend to be dry as Sahara desert 😅

I don’t think you realize what you do for us... I live with bi polar and have struggles with staying grounded when I feel an episode coming on.... I first discovered your spooky stories and now alllll your videos.. the point I’m getting at is you have become my mental pause button... Finally, someone’s giving tips and advice rather than trying to sell products. I love makeup and trying new things, but it’s to the point of ridiculousness all the things being launched. I only have one face and probably more than enough makeup to last me the rest of my life. I love hearing about techniques I maybe haven’t tried, or even thought about. I love how you’re more on the “natural” side of makeup rather than “Instagram” ready 24/7. You’re so sweet and come across as genuinely wanting to help people. You are the makeup industry's equivalent of Alton Brown in the cooking world. You make things simple enough to understand to a level that you can develop into a MasterChef or in your case a makeup artist because someone who watches your videos understands the core principles and theories of why things work the way they do. For me there is no higher praise to offer you than this comparison. I'm so grateful that you manage to leave behind all the unpleasantness one so often encounters in the beauty genre of TH-cam. Re: the first lady with large pores. You mentioned using eyeshadow primer with the same consistency as MAC paint pots. What about putty primers like Tatcha or ELF? Would those do the job as well?
Polly Weifenbach i would say that they wouldn’t be the same, as the Tatcha and ELF ones are more that slick smoothing texture, whereas the eyeshadow primers tend to be a little bit more tacky. The smoother ones don’t build up as nicely as the MAC style ones! I’m curious to see what his response will be!
@@kaleighcleveland7897 Thank you! Yeah, the Tatcha / ELF would be smoother you're right without that same tackiness. I'm going to try my paint pot on my nose when I next do my makeup and see the difference.
They're more like 'pore fillers' which she said doesn't work for her and he said they work okay on small pores, but not large.
The eyeshadow primer would be much better, in the way that they prevent more oil from seeping out of the pore- as on the lids that is what they do.
The elf pore filler is similar to what she said she had on in the beginning

I have been using your under eye concealer method for the last couple of weeks-- no triangle, just a few dots here and there and blend it out. IT'S MADE ALL THE DAMN DIFFERENCE. My under eye make up looks way more natural and smooth-- also laying off the baking which is doing wonders. LOVE YOUR CHANNEL!! Keep the tips and tricks coming!!

Last time I did my makeup, I used your tip for applying under eye concealer. HUGE DIFFERENCE! It looks and feels better. Plus, it lasts longer, no cakey undereyes or creasing after only a half hour! Thank you for all your tips. It's been extremely helpful.

So true! I'm super oily in summer but in winter I'm using foundation for normal /dry skin and I don't use much powder cause no matter how much I moisturize my skin in some places it tend to be dry as Sahara desert 😅
