    I personally enjoy the rambling, It is why I come to watch! Like talking with a friend! Great idea with the multiple days cut up into parts we would enjoy and not having to voice over! I also know fire season is coming I have already started sending rain vibes! I am here no matter what Nyssa but I do enjoy this style!

    I love just watching you doing stuff and chatting as you go, no matter if I’ve heard it before. Your videos feel cosy to me. Like I’m sitting down, watching a friend go about her life and chatting at the same time. I am loving vlogmas videos, I’d be happy to watch whatever you do in 2025.

    You might think that you are being repetitive, but please remember your viewers don't mind. Not only because it is all new to us, but also because sometimes people are in a place to hear/remember what you say and sometimes they're not. If this vlogmas style of chatting and doing at the same time is working for you and taking you less time, then that is how you should go forward (at least with some videos). I think everybody loves your content and the presentation isn't as important as long as we feel like you're chatting with us! ❤

    I just watch the vlog. Take what comes. If I was bored I would turn off. Yesterday you said something about rainy season. Had a giggle to myself as very aware of rain. Never thought of your area in torrential rain. One year we had 20 inches in 6 hours. Nothing felt dry for days.

      @OurSmallFootprint i see what you're saying. People need to understand you're in Australia off grid in a outside kitchen. I'd love to see those people do what you do for one day! Flak brings you more views and comments boots your channel. So if you could just ignore them it would make you more money lol. However it is so hard to ignore ignorance.

    Hi Nyssa. Relatively new subscriber, 1st time commenting. I love your videos. I'm a wee Scottish granny, living in a housing association flat in rural Scotland. Your life is as far removed from mine as is possible to get but that's the idea of these videos isn't it; to see how other people live and what they do to get through the day. I cannot understand people who just come to these videos and feel the need to disrespect your life. They must be quite sad and disappointed folks. You live a real life, like the rest of us only with different circumstances. I personally could not cope with your Australian heat or living in the bush. I have a very irrational fear of ALL creepy crawlies and your native fauna so wouldn't last 5 minutes in your surroundings lol I'm loving the squirreling while filming, you're much more relaxed and just going with the flow. My house is full of flu right now and have been too poorly to concentrate on much of anything, so I'm having a wee binge session to catch up on all I've missed. Sending you love and hugs from a very cold and miserable Scotland x x

      Thank you Alison! :D. Yes, the different way of life may not be something others would choose, but I don't really understand then why they get so negative about it, yes, you wouldn't choose to live this way (my mum always comments that when she comes to visit it feels like going back to when she was small and the way my Nana had to do things hehe) but that doesn't mean its 'wrong' :). People just have to have their say I guess :D
      I'm sorry you've got a house full of ick :S. nothing worse than when everyone feels crappy at the same time!

      hehe, it was kinda annoying, but the results are so neat, I'm going to try popping them out more in bulk after being in the freezer today, that might help, but i will prob stick with bark and breaking it up lol.

    Hehe the chocolate chips gave me nightmare flashback to when I did it for my son. He has a soy allergy and desperately wanted to try chocolate chips... cue several hours of tantrums later, and I can say that I've done it once but never again. I still made chocolate, but not choc chips lol. I was over the moon when I discovered Pana chocolate and I could just buy him chocolate. It's expensive, so he only gets it at easter, Christmas and his birthday

    I think you’re way more patient than most and with the amount that you do in a day it’s not surprising you want things done and dusted - I know you were looking for people’s preferences but honestly I love whatever it is you put up and I know that doesn’t help much but that’s my honest opinion- since I found your vlogs I honestly do way more than I did (kitchen wise) and I was a cook/baker before I retired but you put me to shame 🤦‍♀️ I watch all the adverts because I think if you can take the time and e energy to do these videos then the least us viewers can do is watch every advert (I believe it helps ) and if people don’t like your garden etc then we all have a suggestion of what they can do 😂😂 I watch your vlogs with two of my grandchildren- the two youngest ones (8 and 10)- and they love it as much as I do - now that was a squirrel (said the 64 year old Scottish woman ) lol 💜

      Surreal is into diamond paintings and I actually bought some small scale activities of it, coaster kits and stuff as well, for the other kids to try! :D. I think it might be a bit finicky for the small boys though.
      We do some gluing and building with popsicle sticks a lot and we do outside building with power tools under supervision too and they do enjoy that!

    Maybe putting the chocolate mixture into a piping bag would easier to fill the chop mold. You'd be abl to squirt the mixture into each mold without dealing with the mess or waste.

    • @OurSmallFootprint
      @OurSmallFootprint  7 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Thats possible, and I know some people just make the chips by piping it directly onto a baking sheet, but this mixture ended up too runny to do that with, but into the moulds might work!

    I do like this vlog format as well. Perhaps for your trifle, you can make angel food cake. Make the egg white bread that is all over the keto world, but add 1/4 cup allulose for color and texture, a bit of almond and vanilla flavor, and a couple drops of pure liquid sucralose (Amazon), I know that is not mentioned much in the keto/carnivore world because it is a questionable sweetener, but I don't like stevia or erythritol. And it did not spike my blood sugars. I also am sensitive to nuts so almond flour became an issue in baking. So the egg white bread/angel food cake became my go to for a baked sweet treat. You could use egg whites and not the powder just as easily, then you have the yokes left for your cream pudding. I sweetened that with sucralose as well. :)

    • @OurSmallFootprint
      @OurSmallFootprint  8 วันที่ผ่านมา

      I haven't tested out the different sweeteners on myself too much yet, we did have ice cream last night with allulose and it was so lovely but a bit too sweet, all the sweeteners have pros and cons everywhere for everyone, I think you just need to figure out what works for you!
      I did see the carnivore oopsie cake, I reckon that might be worth trying too!

    Supper looked delicious. You're a champ for making those fiddly chocolate chips! Are Lily's chocolate products (including chips) sold in Australia? I know those are a popular choice with Keto folks here in the U.S.
