How to Make an X-Men Sentinel Helmet for Superhero Cosplay Photoshoots - Free Foam Templates

- How to make a Sentinel Helmet that works for cosplay or as a fantastic photoshoot prop. I love the x-men, especially reto versions from when I was a kid. I thought the Sentinel's were always cool because they could actually try to take on the muntants and sometime win. This helmet can be made at 100% to be used for cosplay but in this build I scaled mine up to 130% so that I could make an oversized Sentinel severed Head for photoshoots. The helmet is made out of lightweight eva foam and painted with liquitex acrylics so it's prefect for this application. So if you have an awesome Rogue, Wolverine, Gambit or any of the other X-Men consider making a severed Sentinel head to go along with your costume to carry around the con floor!

The techniques you used for heat sealing and adding battle damage really brought the Sentinel to life. Have you considered any alternative materials for achieving different textures or effects in your future builds?
Thanks! I use a lot of different textures on foam projects, check out the sandman helmet video, Pyramid head, and Krampus masks for some examples
you should do something related with LOL or arcane, specially now because of the hype, a lot of people are trying to cosplay LOL characters (like jinx pistol, miss fortune hat, or Vi gloves)!!

Hi, I stumbled on your channel by accident and I find them not only interesting but fascinating! Your projects are works of art.
I’m trying to find out how to make a mask or head for a life size grinch that I’m making for part of a Xmas garden decoration here in the uk. Scanning and watching soo many other tutorials I find I like your delivery and explanations so easy to understand. I looked at latex masks on Amazon or Etsy and find them expensive or nowhere a lookalike, so when I stumbled on EVA. And foam clay I wondered if it was do able to sculpt out of eva. I was wondering if you could offer any tips or guide me in the direction of how to start. Many thanks Nikki
