    Awesome tour! He did such a great job. Obviously, I am biased but western haunts are the best! Love that rock wall no the front.

    Great haunt, thanks again for another fun walkthrough. I like the use of pallets and the recycled wood gives this town a great old west look.

    Your western town was so memorable. I watched that series so much. It's nice to see someone take the ideas and run with them. He did a great job on Haydenville. I still go back and watch many of those old haunts you all did. They are still so professional and amazing. Great video!

    Lots of very good ideas in the scene. He did great on the wagon wheel. Real convincing. He uses gorilla glue sticks to make spider webs... hmmm... that's how I keep my hairdo in place. With everyone stuck at home, it's a good time to work on things you might show this year!

    it'd be cool to have to have tumbleweed on a string that blows accross between timed (crate covered) fans if possible. Probably not possible , but i love tumbleweed!

    If you are making foam tombstones what would you coat them in?

    • @HollywoodHaunter
      @HollywoodHaunter  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Some options are the Monster Mud (Drywall mud & Paint), Flexbond mortar & paint, drylok & paint, driveway sealer & paint, if you don't mind spending a little more you could always purchase a foam coat, or a styro safe resin to hard coat before paint. There are so many methods you can do it really just depends on how much you want to spend and what medieum your comfortable working with.

    I have a tip for the flame effect light bulbs, surprisingly Walmart has a few different varieties for like $5-7 a piece and they actually look fantastic. I got like 10 of them and have had one on my back porch and turned on for the last 6 months and it's still going strong.
    *EDIT* I forgot to mention that they are Great Value brand!

    Hi! I just started watching your channel! You guys are amazing and so talented! I have always loved Halloween and want to make my own decorations but have no experience whatsoever. I have two big lawns and a big driveway. I was thinking of doing a witch and cauldron scene in front of my garage door to start. Do you have any input on where someone new like me should start and still get a cool ambiance? Cheers!

      Hi! So awesome you have so much space. I would definitely start small and detailed and then add items throughout the year. There are a ton of really great ideas on Pinterest if you haven't looked there yet. Are you wanting to be more family friendly or a little more spooky. I do have a few halloween friends who have done some witch stuff and could share their videos for inspiration :)

    In the 80's there was no haloween in the Vally, all the house were dead. All the good haunts of the 70's had shut down due to bad halloween press. Mid 80's the Hallowed haunt on Babcock in Studio City. Dr Zenawats on Mound View in Studio City , followed by Freekling brothers in Van nuys and Griswalds Cemetery in Van Nuys. ..and BONNY ISLAND. Those haunts really gave the valley the shott it needed. After that it seemed every year a new Haunt showed up, bigger, better and then giving rise to more haunts. and now in 2020 this amazing yearly display of haunts all over California. All in some small way oweing their origins to those brave spooks at hallowed Haunting ground and Dr Zenawats.
