oh yeah, I wanted to mention this cuz it popped into my head randomly, but I LOVE the handshake at the end. Either way the duel falls, sportsmanship is something that I feel is super important in this game that can often leave people with hard feeling, especially in advanced format. I hope it's something that always remains in these videos! 👏

Good game fellas! Good opportunity to talk about activated effects vs. continuous too! I was rooting for my boy Mike, but unfortunately Sky Striker's weakness held it back a bit - it can struggle with being able to cleanly OTK depending on your draw luck and what match up you're in.
Yeah unfortunately sky striker has very obvious weaknesses in this particular match up, namely dimension shifter, empens ability to shut off all links, and advents ability to help dodge widow anchor, imperm and veiler :(
Dreaming Town resolves normal robina, lightning storm resolves destroying map and dreaming town. New chain robina triggers to search. Floo monsters are trigger effects and cannot be activated while a chain is resolving
Hey welcome to the channel and thank you for the feedback, I appreciate it since I play many decks and aside from a few modern ones, I haven't had time to master them all. The floo deck in particular has always been a bit confusing for me with how things resolve so I appreciate that :)
@@Retro_YGO I’ve been playing floo for almost a year now. Half of it is learning the lines for niche situations but it’s also learning how or when to interact with other decks. Floo struggles against some decks but absolutely destroys others. I have some matches on another channel, DarkArmedDuelist, if you wanna watch some funny ones. Just don’t watch the one vs kashtira, we had some misplays in that one lol
This duel was insane I never really seen sky strikers and floowandreeze duel before it was really interesting now I really wanna finish my sky striker deck even more and eventually make the floowandreeze deck but I'm still lacking cards in them
@@Retro_YGO lol right ik that when cards get reprinted it hurt the value of the cards but at the same time it's awesome since I don't have to spend an arm and a leg on the deck itself
I believe ash should be banished, but still negate, if I'm not mistaken. Discard means send from hand to GY, and D. Shifter being higher on the CL would mean that it resolves first, making any card SENT to GY be banished instead. So ash still resolves, but is banished due to shifter's effect. I could be wrong though 😅
Ash would go to the graveyard, I know it was confusing because it was left in the middle of the table when being declared. But chain link 2 Ash, discard is the cost, so it happens immediately upon declaration of the effect. Once the chains resolve backwards, ash will have already be in the GY. Luckily it didn't change the course of the game, however, it could hack mattered for me if I drew stri, because I'd need a GY target to banish.
You had game, when you had double eglen you tribute one and the set backrow for second empen search then tribute eglen and link for raiza and bounce the last backrow and boom 8200 on board
deck profile video would be nice have you thought of running necrovalley with the birds since they play around the grave help floodgate the grave a bit better stop that moving things around it would take out one of the birds tho

So there will be a September list as well :) regarding necrovalley, it's a good option, I'd probably play it as a 1 of and add a copy of terraforming for my 2nd copy, to allow for more flexibility to also go into map if needed. With that being said, I'd only do it if necrovalley was an auto win button against the opposing deck, map on the opponents turn is just too good otherwise :)
I recommend 2 if u run it because u can tag it out once your ready for your birds to takeoff birds can do we'll and play around without the map which is good both together is great for sure @@Retro_YGO
Don’t want to be too harsh but you both played this match up extremely poorly with multiple misplays and incorrect interactions. Besides the shifter/ash example, at 2:10 when you move the adventure to the graveyard. As soon as you perform that action, it means the chain has resolved and you are not using the optional part of Eglen’s effect to perform an additional normal and any judge who sees this would not allow you to summon the robina afterwards. Sloppy gameplay will build bad habits so best to learn and practice the deck!

Luckily the floo cards are dirt cheap! Everything has been reprinted to the ground hehe
