Notice how Rich’s voice slows down throughout the interview to match the tone and pace of Radhanath. Shows how Rich genuinely takes in his guests and their energy. Peace and plants!

Remarkably, I'd never heard of Radhanath Swami prior to this amazing interview with Rich Roll. It's hard to imagine a person who more beautifully and genuinely embodies love, compassion and service than him. Rich, you did a wonderful thing with this interview - firstly with your choice of guest, and secondly the thoughtful, beautiful way you created space and respect for Radhanath, so thank you for that. Divine.

When I look back on these times, I will be saying that I could not have made it through without Rich Roll. Whether it's gathering information and inspiration about how to become more physically and mentally healthy, or as in this video with Radhanath Swami, to be nourished and uplifted from the constricted feelings of depression into the vastness of love and compassion and the desire to serve humanity rather than disparage it, I thank you with all my heart for creating this safe and beautiful place in the cyber universe.

Miriam, we are all gurus teaching one another, we learn from one another in this journey to connecting to the ultimate truth of being. We all have souls inside us that knows the greater truth but our body and intellect does not and hence there is this journey from our mind, body and intellect to the ultimate truth. We can actually revere and bow down to one another when we meet on the streets. You are a guru to someone else too without even realising 🙏

I hear what you’re saying about finding like minded people. I’ve been trying to reach out for more than 5 years and feel completely alone since awakening and became deeply aware. Now everyone I knew treats me like I’m weird and doesn’t associate with me and no one else has replied. Anyone here who knows where to find like minded people? I have an amazing story to tell and a very fun outlook on life.

Now , more then ever we need to go inward and raise our own consciousness as individuals, because that is the only way we can make change collectively and it is an answer to all todays problems .❤️🕉🌺

What a beautiful soul Radhanath Swami is. Thank you both for this interview. i study energy work and am passionate in connecting science and spirituality. There is a pure, loving and divine intelligence that flows to and through every cell in our bodies and connects us all - and when we connect to our heart space, we are fostering our spirit self and allowing the wellness and abundance that naturally flows, if we don't do that thing to block it.. Our thoughts and believe are so powerful. We get what we focus upon...whether we want it or not, and some do choose bondage...but the choice is ours. Awareness and self love are the keys. When one truly loves themselves, they have love and compassion for all. They know that everyone is doing the best they can with the knowledge and understanding they have at that particular space and time. Blessings to alll...and... Be the LOVE, you are wanting to experience.

Just curious if your Buddhist practice has dietary restrictions?
I've been alcohol, drug, tea, coffee, meat fish & egg, even garlic & onion free for almost 40 years. Actually Lord Buddha had come to save the poor animals that were being slaughtered. His heart is kind, compassionate and truthful.
Why not investigate this free library of the Vedic wisdom that will release your depression if you are serious & sincere.
Buddha is found here in many places.
It's a free online library, and George Harrison even liberally financed these books.

Thanks Rich, this was enriching in every way. What was interesting is that I listen to most of your interviews and at first , I thought an American monk , I skip that..... but what came out of listening to it was humility and thought me not to be judgmental... thanks for your service in this arena

Every step forward has been because an individual has had the chutzpah to step away from the collective, away from group-think so let us not get too lulled into the compassion narrative. Compassion can take many forms. It can be hard and harsh. It can be soft and gentle. It depends on what is called for at a given moment. And seeing what is called for is a supreme art. It is itself sharp awareness. So many so-called spiritual centers have been rocked to the core by revelations of exploitations of various sorts. Keep your feet on the ground, keep your third eye open and do not surrender your critical faculties! In the end, you are all you've got and what you've got is beautiful. Don't project it on to others.

I really thought/think that I could/can continue to allow regret, shame and 'hatred' toward myself - body AND soul. I must ask God, Source, Life to help me receive It's Love and then Love myself ....

You seem like me in many ways. I stumbled on you by chance as I was listening to another video, and you came up next while I was emailing. I will look you up as I want to read your books. I am older like you, but still searching on my journey of how to help others.
I agree how the religions can lead to bigotry and hatred in the name of God. I don't want to reject my Methodism, because it is a loving religion, and yet I am struggling with how to communicate this beautiful essence that is at the heart of God. This energy/essence transforms us, but how to communicate this hope to others who are either turned off, or to people who are still entrenched in their religious dogma, which is not the love of God. To see the force that is a part of God and divine is hard to explain to others.
