That was great. But I prefer replacing ^p^p with ^p which keeps your paragraphs as It was instead of merging entire paragraph. Thank you bro!
There are more options right there. simply click more>> and select special at the bottom of the dialog box.

Omg, thank you so much!! When I first tried this, it didn't work for the whole document, only for a few lines and I was so dismayed. HOWEVER, I looked more closely and realized that not only were there the consecutive paragraph symbols, but there were also paragraph symbols with a small circle attached ("non-breaking space" under the "special" characters list) mixed in! I replace all of those symbols with the paragraph symbol so that they were all paragraph symbols, followed by the ^p^p and it worked!! :D
