I have read the hafs quran and some of the hadiths and found the following very disturbing about Mohammed and his allah: - Islam teaches that child marriage is OK which implies child rape (Surah 65:4) which is evil. And Mohammed of course led by example when he raped a 9 year old little girl. - Islam teaches that it is OK for a husband to beat his wife (Surah 4:34) which is evil. - Islam teaches that it is OK to use women captured in war to be used and sold as sex slaves (Surah 33:50) which evil. - Islam teaches that Christians and Jews must be fought until they have been killed (murdered) unless they submit to Islam and agree to be oppressed second class citizens in the own country (Surah 9:29) which is evil. - Verily those who believe not [in Islam], among those who have received the scriptures [Jews and Christians], and among the idolaters, [shall be cast] into the fire of hell, to remain therein [for ever]. Quite right - however the pattern followed by the Christian church(es) in response to widespread sexual abuse by the clergy seems to be the order of the day - deny, deny, deny - thankfully separation of church and state is a thing!

One can see the best part of Islam in Sufism whose leaders often do not require their followers to adopt Islam. Also the historical rise of Islam needs to be more closely investigated. Why do the earliest qiblas not face Mecca? The closer we get to the original pure spark the closer we get to the real Islam

As people become more educated they tend to believe less in ancient superstitions. I think as the world evolves and becomes more and more technologically sophisticated and as more people have access to education, they will stop believing. Islam is interesting because if you look at the average education of Muslims around the world, it's actually only 4.9 years. Such people cannot think critically. If you look at the other end of the spectrum, highly educated people with PhD in the sciences (whom most agree can think very rationally and evaluate evidence), then no more than 30% believe in any religion and even if they are religious their views are not exactly "orthodox" - my Christian friend who also hold a PhD in astrophysics for example does not think that Jesus was god. A Muslim friend with a PhD in nuclear physics does not think that Muhammad flew to heaven. I think religions will be around for a long time, but I think they will become less important and fewer people will follow them.@@srbsrb3831
Without God, there can be no morality. Even utilitarianism fails. The only source of ethics has to be God, or there will be nothing left but exceptions to weak suggestions. Look what "inclusiveness" is doing to society today. Human beings need a trustworthy foundation, backed by justice and mercy.

In order to create islam, Mo Mo had to blaspheme Jesus' message, reason for coming and lie about his death and resurrection. Because of that, it will never be part of anything that God sees as his own.

Which Arabic version of the quran do is used and why that one? Or is it not even know that there are some 40 different versions of the Arabic quran we know of? Of course all these qurans were written by unknown authors. And how are all the mistakes, discrepancies, inconsistencies and contradictions in that quran dealt with as well as the approval of evil such as raping women who have been captures in battle (surah 33:50) which is adultery and wife beating (surah 4:34) as well as child marriage (surah 65:4) which means that Mohammed and his allah approved of raping little prepubescent girls. I have read the hafs quran and some of the hadiths and found the following very disturbing about Mohammed and his allah:
- Islam teaches that child marriage is OK which implies child rape (Surah 65:4) which is evil. And Mohammed of course led by example when he raped a 9 year old little girl.
- Islam teaches that it is OK for a husband to beat his wife (Surah 4:34) which is evil.
- Islam teaches that it is OK to use women captured in war to be used and sold as sex slaves (Surah 33:50) which evil.
- Islam teaches that Christians and Jews must be fought until they have been killed (murdered) unless they submit to Islam and agree to be oppressed second class citizens in the own country (Surah 9:29) which is evil.
- Verily those who believe not [in Islam], among those who have received the scriptures [Jews and Christians], and among the idolaters, [shall be cast] into the fire of hell, to remain therein [for ever]. These are the worst of creatures.

Sadly, few Muslims do that. They tend to "recite" the Quran, but not read it slowly and think what it say. Never mind read the sira or countless sahih hadiths, tafsirs and books of Sharia. Islam should use reverse abrogation rather than abrogration. The purest texts - those calling for toleration e.g. Let there be no compulsion in religion come from the earlier surahs. The universal message of Muhammad comes from the earliest surahs; whereas the latest ones deals with the preoccupations of a growing empire and are more temporally based. One can see the best part of Islam in Sufism whose leaders often do not require their followers to adopt Islam. Also the historical rise of Islam needs to be more closely investigated. Why do the earliest qiblas not face Mecca? The closer we get to the original pure spark the closer we get to the real Islam

As people become more educated they tend to believe less in ancient superstitions. I think as the world evolves and becomes more and more technologically sophisticated and as more people have access to education, they will stop believing. Islam is interesting because if you look at the average education of Muslims around the world, it's actually only 4.9 years. Such people cannot think critically. If you look at the other end of the spectrum, highly educated people with PhD in the sciences (whom most agree can think very rationally and evaluate evidence), then no more than 30% believe in any religion and even if they are religious their views are not exactly "orthodox" - my Christian friend who also hold a PhD in astrophysics for example does not think that Jesus was god. A Muslim friend with a PhD in nuclear physics does not think that Muhammad flew to heaven.

Muslims are very closed minded and think that ONLY they know about Islam, even if someone was a devout Muslim for example and left Islam, they suddenly get labelled as someone who was never a "true" Muslim or didn't understand Islam. Also, academic scholars who hold PhDs in Islamic studies, Quranic manuscripts, etc get dismissed by an average uneducated Muslim. This is a defence mechanism, which only shows that Muslims cannot handle criticism and dismiss all non-Muslims while of course a Muslim will not criticize Islam!

Which Arabic version of the quran do is used and why that one? Or is it not even know that there are some 40 different versions of the Arabic quran we know of? Of course all these qurans were written by unknown authors. And how are all the mistakes, discrepancies, inconsistencies and contradictions in that quran dealt with as well as the approval of evil such as raping women who have been captures in battle (surah 33:50) which is adultery and wife beating (surah 4:34) as well as child marriage (surah 65:4) which means that Mohammed and his allah approved of raping little prepubescent girls. And we see that Mohammed led by example when he married a 6 year old child and then raped that child when it was just 9 years old. Clearly Mohammed disqualified himself as a prophet of GOD by the evil he perpetrated.
