Thank you for another excellent reaction to Angelina. In my opinion, she is the best singer in the world, and there are thousands of others who would agree with me. Every moment you spend featuring her on your channel will being you great emotional satisfaction.
There are so many things I get from this performance. Some I recognised immediately and those I missed were brought to my attention by the more observant Angelina fans (her Angels) and I thank them for letting me know what I had missed.
(1) The realisation that at the age of 10 Angelina has shed all childishness from her voice.
(2) A feeling that the placement of the spotlight at the beginning of her performance was deliberate. If it was, then, to my mind, it was a brilliant move.
(3) The fact that Angelina arranged this song and that the band kept out of the way and let her voice be the focus.
(4) The incredible low note she sang for the word "good" at the beginning and end of the performance.
(5) That wonderful crescendo at the end.
(6) The was Angelina used her left arm and hand throughout the performance
(7) The way she changed the microphone from her right hand to left hand, so that she could flip her hair back with her right hand.
(8) The cheeky smile she gave to the cameraman when she realised he had focused on her at about 5.16 in your reaction video.
(9) The sideways look and grin she gives to her instrumentalists just after she curtsies to the audience -- as if to say, "Yeah, we killed it, guys! Now let's go get some ice cream!"
(10) The almost instantaneous switch from "performance" mode to that of a young child who, curtseyed and gave a sweet smile to the audience as an acknowledgement of their applause.
Others have commented that the performance by Nina Simone should be considered the "gold" standard for this song. Until recently, I had never watched her performance, but have now done so. They just cannot be compared, for Angelina's arrangement is totally different

Pretty sure she won't change - watched her last two concerts live, in Norway and Portsmouth. The emotion towards her audience was just off the wall. Was standing 10 feet away in Norway and could see tears running down her face as she got so emotional at being singing live again. Even her Mum is so nice - she was walking around the crowd before the show - got to chat to her and she was also pretty emotional and couldn't believe how all the concerts were sold out and that people had come from all over the World to see AJ.

Most consider Nina Simone's rendition as 'The Gold Standard', but here, Angelina at 10 years of age,
performs what I believe to be 'The Platinum Standard' for the song. Not only is her vocal arrangement
'to die for', but her coordination of this masterful orchestra as well.

The best version of this song that I’ve heard. Just magical.
We shouldn’t forget that Angelina participated in many events in support of charitable organizations.
This was an event held in support of "Plan International", a humanitarian and development organization with the goal of advancing children's rights and equality for girls around the world. "Foster Parents" sponsor needy children around the world with monetary pledges that go directly to helping the specific children whom they sponsored and are able to communicate with them via Plan International.
The event was held on December 30, 2016 at Chateau Neuf Center in Oslo and broadcast on TV2.
Angelina was one of several performers and delivered a stunning performance.
Most of Angelina's performances after winning Norway Got Talent at age 8 were for children charitable organizations.
This Amazing young lady with the big voice and bigger heart is 18 years old today and still performs barefoot to remember the shoeless girl that she met when she was 6 years old and to remind us all of the many needy children around the world.

Thanks for sharing your amazement with us. The moment that caught me attention, on first hearing, was (5:13) the camera catching a half smile on
Angelina's face. I realized how satisfied she was during the performance. Not how good it is, but how it matched the soul of the song in her head.
A true Angelina moment that I compare all of her videos too as I watch them. Angelina's songs (Imho) took a leap forward in tone and maturity

shrouded in a mystery going from the (2016) sound track demo prepared for writer Baby FuzZ to the LEAKED video's release by unknown fan(s)
in November 2018, one month before Baby FuzZ released his own video of the song. I dare you to keep your eyes closed on a hearing and tell me
the singer's age. I have yet to accomplish this task.

So many people have said this and I believe in the near future we may actually hear her on a James Bond soundtrack because she is perfect for that type of movie. We see a clear definition of prodigal talent here. As a long-time fan I deeply appreciate your comments. Now 18 years old, she will do two shows in Vegas this month, her first big public stage in the U.S. Her many years in the limelight have taken a little bit of a toll in regards to her simple approach. Now she is super-gussied up in gowns and fake blue eye contacts. She has grown into a very tall, stunning, beautiful girl and it's easy to see why she wants to leave behind the I-just-got-out-of-bed look. The charming stagecraft we saw here has given way unfortunately to something kind of forced and unnatural, with her endless commentary between songs along the lines of, "Thanks guys. I know I'm blessed to have you as fans." My fervent hope is that Mercury, her label, has made sure to give her stagecraft lessons before Vegas in order to polish off very rough edges that developed recently. But in the humility department, she needs no help from anyone. From all her overdone social media postings, we can be pretty confident that what we see tells us she remains completely down to earth. Finally, as preposterous as it sounds, her unbelievable vocal talent has only gotten better.

My understanding is that she started arranging her own music for performances when she was ten years old, so I believe she arranged this as well. I have always loved this one, and it is a favorite of mine, but one of the reasons that’s so is because of the band and how it complements her vocals. There you go!

Many believe English is her third language. But that can not be the case. When she was 1 yo (in january 2007) her father was employed as Asset Manager Statoil Iran with his office in New Mexico, USA. (Source: Linkedin). His family probably moved to the US with him, and there are at least three videos showing AJ in the US in her early childhood (she moved back to Norway in time to starting school at 6). - And how would a 3 yo girl become fascinated by Simon Cowell if she could not understand what he was saying?
Thus: English is probably her first language (in parallell with Norwegian).
