Hi today again another perfect upload however looking at your old videos to be specific in regards to the atlas bone I’ve done some research for the importance of head posture and came across jade pillow opening the idea where near the atlas the bone the jade pillow sits where you want to expand that area consciously without muscler tension of you can do your magic and explained it and maybe find a tutorial thanks

This refers to one of the other essential principles of Tai Chi, which is lightly floating up of the head. This is also necessary and uses the erector spinae muscles along the spine to elongate the spine upward without force. Force generally means one muscle contracting against another force, either internally or externally. I have mentioned this principle in the Top 10 Tips and other videos. The intention is to float the head up as if the crown of the head was attached to a balloon floating upward. This intention should be held even as you rotate or pivot the head. I haven't gone into a long discussion in any videos, but I could if that seems interesting.

@@ToddMartinMD hi Todd I have been trying to practice suspending from the head if you can do some research for me and explain in your terms the opening of the Kade pillow gate and kinking the hose. The idea that you need to pivot from the atlas and lengthen the back of the head by reaching with the crown should that be done from musclar motion or feeling an opening and expanding through thanks

So, when we are standing, we dont stand on our hips and in the middle, we are always tucking slightly with low abs on one side?

The center of mass is in the middle. The muscle action is on one side.

@@ToddMartinMD Wait I don't understand, which muscles are activate when we stand? I see a lot of videos and everyone have different aproach... I stand all the day and it's very important for me. If we elongate our spine from hips and slightly tuck on one side with low abs, how we can keep our belly button area in the middle and how to maintain our throath on top of perineum? It' s very hard to understand and even harder to maintain that position every day

@snjezanakuburovic8021 I think the easiest way to feel this is to march in place slowly. As you bring the heel down on one foot, that is the leg where the lower abs are active. If you have good posture, the hip flexors and upper abs will be active on the same side. Then you will activate the hip flexors in the other side to pick the other leg up.
