Wish they would shrink this model down to 39 or 38mm, and slim it down around ~10mm. Would be an instant buy. Those new small second models are incredible
The small seconds with a Guilloche dial texturing is amazing! Sign me up for one or two of those. Regarding the new color schemes for the older model - the salmon(ish) one is attractive. Personally I have seen just about all the camouflage that I can take for one lifetime. Thus that model holds no allure whatsoever. A great look into what is coming - and thank you!
Great looking new Tsuyosa options for sure. Maybe we'll get lucky and see additional offerings in the Crystal 7's too, as I far prefer that model. But these look great
Good effort from Citizen, even if not my style. It’s interesting that Citizen has become the sleeping giant that has awoken. It seems to me Citizen has watched Seiko cranking its prices sky high and seen it as an opportunity to move into its (former) territory whilst taking on Tissot as well.
@@Horologique Probably does, but for a slim wrist smaller would be better. It is a bit too large for me unfortunately. A midsize/unisex version = more potential sales for Citizen.
I really like the Tsuyosa and I'm digging the new salmon and champagne dial colour variants. But I'm not sure about the guilloche dial pattern, I think these dials would go better with dress watches rather than sports watches like the Tsuyosa.
I have one, but I totally don't understand why they make the watch a little more expensive with a better clasp, higher atm rating and better lume. Love the design, but they made budget cuts that are annoying.
They are already addressing the clasp issue (butterfly clasp in this new model) and I could swear the lume is better in these new models, sadly I believe my yellow dial has been stolen, I can't find it anywhere :(
I have the teal edition.superb fit.the movement is meh... Im definitely after this one as well BUT...i might wait a bit for more colors.im pretty sure they will release more.the salmon/gold looks amazing. Ill wait until they release the rest of the options and decide then.
40mm is just right for a 7” (or larger) wrist, even a bit small. I prefer a small seconds subdial and no date to central seconds with date at 3. Too much of the affordable market uses that central seconds/date at three layout and it’s BORING. The small seconds, no date, guilloche dial is beautiful!
Citizen failed in my opinion. I wish they added 100-150m water resistance, updated the clasp and focused on some minor adjustments (dial finish, adjusted cyclops size and so on). Tsuyosa series is great, but they will ruin it with those acrobatics. So typical of asian brands.....no class at all.

I like the black and blue colors of the Tsuyosa, and I like the gray and blue colors of the Guillochet.
Do you already have one?
@@Horologique no, not yet!
Thanks Olivier, thèse New citizen are really nice. It will be for sure a hit on 2024!!!
Thank you my friend. Yes I'm sure they will be a hit!
The two EU-only central seconds watches also don't have a cyclops, which is a big point for some!
Totally, sorry I forgot to mention that

Those colours are stunning. Nice watches for the summer. Thanks for showcasing these Olivier 👍👍👍
I like the watch very much, but would be nice in smaller size 38/9 plus touch slimmer 👍

It is a far better model, much more expensive though
Looking great. I love the orange
The small seconds Guilloche dial is splendid.
Totally!
@@Horologique and I think it's new caliber justifies the price tag.

TOTALLY! Citizen are all that we love from Seiko 5 years ago
INSTA BUY! Either blue or salmon.
That small seconds version has the huge advantage of not having a date or cyclop, which IMO always break the fluidity of a dial.
Nice news ... not to my taste though, but if I were to choose, I'll take the blue as well :)
This design isn’t one for me. Where’s the 36mm version of the original?!
Ahh that would have been a good move, but I believe it still wears pretty well
36mm is too small for my 6.7" wrist... I don't like my watch too small. Instead, i prefer this 40mm 😊
36mm? For your daughter?
Very nice, thanks for sharing. A shame Citizen have not taken the opportunity to release a smaller diameter version, 36/37mm would be perfect.
I have to say it wears very well for an integrated bracelet 40mm 😁

They need a black dial for that new version
Alright then, i'll take the grey... 😉Maybe the (warm) orange too. (problem solved, but who'll get that weird camo?)
Good question, I'm sure someone will love it, especailly that it doesn't have the cyclops
I wish the subdial was a darker color. Even the same color as the main dial.

I really like this much more, I may trade up/out for one.
Hope the gray small seconds will be available on a bracelet
As it's a quick release bracelet in the worst case scenario it can be bought separately
I promised myself not to fall in the integrated bracelet trap, but this might just do it.
🤣
I don't have an orange dial yet🤔
Excitante
Porque el dial se me hacia bastante plano, ahora con las texturas mejora mucho
I really like those new small seconds versions. The dials look great, but the best thing is that they have ditched the date and cyclops 👍
Yes, that cyclops was something many people disliked 😁
Great colors ... not fan of Tsuyosa but i have to admit colors are great ... Amicalement Olivier
Merci mon ami 👍
Good video ❤❤

I have the boring yellow dial Tsuyosa and love it. lol
Pfff, get rid of that grandpa's watch 🤣
@@Horologique, here you go and your SNARKY reply comment I was reminding you about.
@@BartMan59 that was a joke, because I have it too!
A high beat movment would be great
The 9 series would have been killer indeed. Maybe for next year
High beat on a small second?
This is a 21,600 bph watch, not a 18,000 low beat movement.
This is the case where the company is listening.
Citizen, by smaller version, we didn’t mean smaller second-hand!
😂
They should release the european only for global market, the only reason i didnt get the tsuyosa is the cyclops
That is a sound idea, I have no idea why they make this European exclusive, it makes no sense!
In the US price is 50% higher
I posted links lets goooooo get him his 20k
Thank tout so much!!

I have literally wanted Citizen and other makers of affordables to make a watch like this for a decade.
@@patrickcannady2066 wonderful, you've got your wish. Still gotta wait a few months though
You have used way too many jump cuts in the first minute of this video for me to have any interest in anything you have to say.

as soon as this idiot said that he isnt a fan of the orange dail, i went ahead and ordered the orange dial.
