because not everytime the opportunity exist, small amount of workers, 3 widow mines without medivac behind mineral line is rare.
Probably because any other hallucination does the exact same job. E.g. A hallucinated Archon should also be able to tank all 3 widow mines and requires you to only control 1 unit, instead of having to split 3 probes so they dont all get killed by 1 widow mine
@@cat-astrophe8697 if you halluc probes, you get 4 probes. other types of halluc I think you just get 1 unit.

@@Supergoon1989 True, but the combined Health of Probes is 160. The combined health of a Hallucinated Archon is 360.
However I made a "small" oversight, I forgot that Hallucinations take double damage. So yeah, 2 Widow mines would have already killed the archon. If there are 3 widow mines you indeed need 4 probes to detonate all of them. (well at least 3 of them)
I see what Byun was going for in the last game, the mega bio army that you can split up and attack form multiple different locations. After all, Colousi are a bit slow and pure gateway unit's doesn't do well against bio, it's just he couldn't find the damage, and that put him farther behind. That idea likely influenced his decision to keep going at it with the pure bio because if he switch tech, he might been able to beat sOs's army, but sOs could've walked across the map and just killed Byun before his tech switch would be complete. Even if he get's the tech switch, he still needs to defend the potential counter attack, and would mean that sOs has more time to get ahead.

This is why I prefer to watch streamers like Lowko and Winter: besides the entertainment value (Winter especially), they use "DAMAGED HEALTHBARS" so we can understand what is happening in the game.
5 stalkers vs 5 marauders, who wins?
Well, it's everyone's guess, since we don't know what are the HP and shield values are.

On the other hand it's better to see the highlights here, instead of having any one of the 2 aforementioned streamers cast for 2 hours.

Honestly, why do the map makers not have like psionic amplifiers around the map you can go to and regen energy for units faster, and say a protoss secured it with a shield batt array the shield bats just never drain under normal use unless hit with an EMP or fungal or something. I think that would give medivacs more value later game and all energy based units more use, plus add another focal point of conflict on the map.
Did broodlord died and took viking along with it? There is literally a reactor on the starport or am I missing something obvious here?

I don't get what ByuN was doing in this one compared to his wins. It's like he just forgot to add tanks or other units beyond the bio here, and in his wins you see he has tank support and maybe vikings or a raven also. At least that was what he did in the highlight against Trap.
He cant play at FreecupStudios because they dont have adjustable desks. At home he has so its not much of a problem for his wrists.

Hi, starcraft noob here. Why didn't byun make any siege tanks?
they wouldve been too slow to siege and unsiege in order to do any damage, the stalkers wouldve made quick work with them using blink
Real answer is they don't suit his style. He doesn't do slow pushes instead focuses mainly on medivacs drops. Also he prefers to stay on aggresive side not defensive and you know, tanks really shine when they are defending as they are nicely presieged.
You cannot build tanks into chargelots, the tanks deal more damage to your army than theirs. Even with tank focus fire, you just cant micro your bio and focus fire with tanks.
Tanks is not Byun's style, he prefers a more mobile army that can multi prong drop harass repeatedly. Byun is an aggressive player, He is not the kind that would sit back with tanks or put all resources into one big fight. More so, protoss has weaker defense than Terran and Zerg, it's actually viable strat to go bio and be aggressive early on. Its players like Maru that would prefer to play safe and more defensive with tanks and doesn't mind playing macro and late game.
Some tanks staying home might have done him some good, but yeah it's not his style.

Overall this was great to watch, but I do wonder why s0s is defending with Stalkers (with blink) against what are either all medivac drops or medivac-backed pushes, and never seriously focuses down the medivacs.

I see Terran tears. This game was made for Protoss to be incredibly hard to play and Terran take mindless rallies and huge armies to swamp the other races. Man Terran is so overpowered everything they have is a better version of the other races abilities
