    I can relate so much to the noise sensitivity.
    I actually never met someone who feels the same. So nice to hear, that other INTJs have the same struggles.
    Noise cancelling headphone help so much at work (at home and the office), while driving, going for a walk, ...

    I can relate to your points about alcohol being an easy fallback for social events. I fell into alcoholism for years because of it and ruined valuable friendships and opportunities. Alcohol is the only drug you have to justify not taking, and quitting last year was one of the best decisions I ever made, if not _the_ best.
    As for options for noise cancellation / stress reduction - try Ambient music. Get a stereo and play an album like Steve Roach - 'Structures From Silence' or Brian Eno - 'Thursday Afternoon' in the background. It sends my dog to sleep so might have a sedative effect on your kids lol.

    I don't celebrate these things since 2021 ^^ No one force us to do theses things.
    _I am similar, I prefer others offer me something I really want, books or food.
    _I think it's useless to buy these accessories to have the good vibrations : these vibrations, healing frequencies that heal chakras (energy centers), nervous system, brain and body... brainwaves are free, there are tons of that on TH-cam. (432 Hz & 528 Hz are the most powerful)
    _Tinted glasses, sunglasses, headphones to cover the noises outside : is the essential/survival kit for certains of us (especially Asperger/Autistics, even for Gifted, ADHD due to the hypersensitivity) It help a lot to get less overwhelmed/drained.
    _Take care of yourself fellows INTJs. 💙
