I just bought a rolling chassis and trying to get started next year. Would you say a mild built 400 small block would be enough to be competitive in mods? I have one sitting around.
I’d say so. The motor I had before the one I have now. Was just a stock 400 block bored 30 over with a scat bottom end and a set of cheap aluminum 202 heads off of speedway motors. With victor jr intake.
@@ayeitzlucas2394 few years now 2020 I think. But we still ran the other motor some too. We ran the 400 we built off and on till 2022. I built it in 2016. Chad ran it in 2022 some till it finally broke a rod. I just never fixed it yet.
