how’s the tacoma pull it? do you use brake controller, weight distribution hitch for a trailer this size? anything you recommend getting? i’m considering buying one and pulling with my tacoma. thanks!

Sooooo I never pulled it with the Taco. I unfortunately bought a Ram for more family space and an easier pull with the camper.

@@NatePrime I know this was from a year ago, but we have a Wolf Pup 16BHS as well. We pull it with a Toyota Highlander SUV, so... even less capable than the Taco, and it tows really nice! We have a Class 3 weight distribution hitch, required by Toyota for our tow vehicle for anything over 2k lbs. The wet weight of the Wolf Pup is around 3800 lbs or so.
It's a relatively lightweight camper, and has electric brakes so it stops really nice as well.
The one caveat with pretty much any entry level camper like this: the construction on them is absolute garbage. They look really nice, but behind the walls and under the vehicle is a rats nest of wires, staples, and tape. We're in the process of making ours 4-season capable, so I'm peaking behind all of the hidden areas and... it's shocking how badly certain things were done.
It's still a great value for the $$$, but go in knowing that you'll be your own best repair person.
