I’m so envious of your thrifting. I’m a 74 yr old widow in southwest Texas who has thrifted most of her life. My health is not the greatest anymore so I don’t go much. I’m hoping this summer my friend since we were 6 yrs old and I will be able to do short trip thrifting. Love you gals.❤❤
I just messaged my two sisters, who live in St Clair, about the 2thirty5 store and her sale!
I grew up in St Clair, in the country, and have a picture of me, in a wheelchair on the St Clair boardwalk, when I was 8! I got gangrene in my leg, and almost had it amputated. I had to stay in the wheelchair, with my leg raised, for the entire summer! I have such great memories of growing up in St Clair! We'd go to marine city, when there was a Woolworth's. Friends from church owned that store. So much has changed!!!
What a SHAME about 235!!!! Then again, the owner of that store didn't seem too sad. At least she gets to retire, but that's such a GREAT STORE!!!! Again, Thank-You Kelly for taking us with you, Debbie and your mom on another GREAT ADVENTURE!!!!
I’m sitting here in the waiting room for my doc appointment and that weathered windmill store has my heart POUNDING!!!! Kelly I got stares because I cackled when the opera AAAAAAAAAAAAA played in the back room viewing 😂😂😂 I just got laid off from my job of 19 years so I am a thrifting fool! I see something and go “Oh! Kelly would freak out!” Or “Oh! I saw Kelly use this!” I am SO not bummed, been in my career for 31 years, my son is 32 and I have had 5 Christmas’ off. God shoved me through that door and I just kept running down the hallway away from that door! ❤ Freedom is a beautiful thing
2Thirty5 and the Rusted Windmill are my kind of stores. I cannot believe what awesome treasures you found. You ladies knocked it out of the park. ❤
It's so satisfying to see a store where the owner goes out and reclaims rusty, crusty, pieces of a building or barn, and everything from inside them! These amazing treasures were saved from the dump or scrap metal heap, by a wise, knowing person, who could foresee the need for it all!

Kelly, I swear I died n went to Heaven on this video. Especially at the Weather Windmill. That place was awesome! Wish I lived in Michigan right now. I don’t care if it was snowing either LOL. You guys really hit the Mother Load. Everyone found something so cool. Can’t wait to see Debbie’s cabinet painted n decorated with that cute latern light she got last week. You really have some nice stuff on sale. I hope I can get there at 5:00 pm if I don’t forget.
This is always so much fun shopping with you but like I said in the past I never get anything LOL.

Wasn't the Weather Windmill incredible?!?!? I couldn't believe it!!!! Pillars for $65- you can't touch them for less than $100- !!!! They had EVERYTHING there!!!! I couldn't believe my eyes!!! It really sucks when thrift stores like Goodwill expect you to pay prices like a retail store. I especially am upset when Dollar Tree items show up for 2x or more the price of new. You found a lot of fun things at the thrift stores in the beginning. That's where I like to spend my my money, small businesses are the bomb!

Kelly! Remember me?! I'm from Jackson, Mi - I bought a bunch of your wood pieces after Christmas and we messaged about thrifting and going to Shipshewanna! Anyway, Yesterday, my sister and I went to Fenton and Holly! We went to Goodwill and Community Threads and My Sister and me Consignment in Fenton, and we went to The Vintage Farmhouse, The Blue Willow Exchange and Pigeon in the Parlour in Holly and we went in Holly Antiques and I found a wood table with a marble top from 1891 in Holly Antiques! Its beautiful! I got my very first dough bowl and I got my very first crock too! Such great finds! 😄👍👏🏻🥰 I just had to tell you about it! 😄 I still want you to meet up with me in Shipshewanna in May! 😄

Love the Weathered Windmill! Been there several times. It is a gold mine! There are several shops in Millington and nearby Birch Run! Worth the drive!

Those old ironing boards make the best plant stand in front of a big window, you can get about 7 medium plants on one, and it looks great.
Kelly too bad you cannot just buy everything in her store and take it to your new store. I would love to buy some of the stuff in 2 thirty-five but I live in Philadelphia, PA. Dang! Darn! n Damn it! I missed the sale at 5:00 pm. I got so busy trying to strip down a antique step stool that time got away with me. Kelly, did the clock n the 3 tare birdhouse sold? Those were what I want to get. If so, it’s my own fault. I try to keep myself busy so I don’t get myself in down n think about my hubby n my son that are no longer with me. Loved the reclamation place, I saw quite metal wash buckets I would use as planters for my herbs. And the rusty wire baskets, love them. Definitely use them for outside for cookouts to keep my glasses, cutlery and napkins in.

Went to 2thirty5 on Wednesday. Update: the building has been sold. She is taking the rest of the month off. Disappointed she wasn’t open, but spent time around Marine City. It is a place to spend the day!! Shopping and the best pizza I have ever eaten! Opening back up sometime in April. So heads up, call before you go. We go to Weathered Windmill all the time, love it. Can’t wait until your store opens!!

I am glad that you are doing well in your life. But I probably won't be watching to much anymore. I don't like watching hauls. I enjoyed you teaching us how to do makeover of items that you found though. BTW, if your shop is open April 1st or 2nd, I would really like to come and look around.
