Are you planning on visiting Oregon this summer? If so, here's our Oregon Episode Series playlist which covers everything we did during our 9-day trip. Oregon Series: th-cam.com/play/PLfHkUGUkCAgw5KQPi3PmvHvmk8NKJwjw-.html
Great waterfalls video! Love that y'all were able to see so many different waterfalls in 2 trip. It took me 3 trips to see all of what y'all saw in 1. And On-E-on-ah. That's how to pronounce the one falls
Haha thanks for the pronunciation tip, clearly we butchered it haha but at least we tried!! And yes there I soo much to see in Oregon and we honestly wanted to see as much of it as we could 💚
@@MathersOnTheMap that was a lot of the gorgr that you saw. I have to go watch your other Oregon videos. The PNW is such a beautiful part of this country
Obviously you saved the best part of Oregon for last… the opinion of a slightly biased windsurfer from Hood River! 👍 Tortillas for supper on night #1… a Baja couple… love it! 😂 👍 Walking underneath Pony Tail Falls… 👍On all the waterfalls… 👍On the drone flights over the gorge… We flew back from Baja last Friday… I could write a book on all the great experiences, the local people we sang, danced, shared tequila and exchanged life stories with … no worries we are returning in October... we found our forever spot in the world!! I will leave you with a quote… 🤔 “It’s realizing that a great dream is not as good as a great memory. The dream can be had by anyone. The memory must be made.”
Haha little biased but likely true! Jealous of Baja glad your trip was a blast Lee! We had our first beach day last weekend to get a taste of summer here in NJ. Time to crank out our Iceland and Norway content for the next month. Love that quote thanks for sharing!
There's a platform with a view from the top of Multnomah Falls. And if you keep hiking up stream from there, there's another waterfall. It then loops around to Wahkeena Falls, or diverts up to Angel's Rest, and back down. One of my favorite Gorge hikes. Also (interesting trivia) that historic highway used to be the only road through the gorge (on the Oregon side) before I-84 was built. (Oneonta is pronounced Awn'-ee-awn-ta.)
Dang that sounds sweet! How’s the waterfall above multnomah? Wow Awn-eee-awn-ta! We were kinda close. We read about the old highway that’s pretty crazy!
@@MathersOnTheMap It’s not that tall; it’s just that most people don’t know it’s there because they stop at the Multnomah platform. Also on that same loop there’s Fairy Falls. Really pretty.
Hi, I spent a year in Oregon at OSU in Corvallis. I felt right at home, it rained more there than back in the U.K. 😁. Loved the whole experience and I hope to return at some point.
I went backwards on the latourell trail and saw the upper first. Then got lost and the sound from the lower falls lead me back to the parking lot! I stayed in hood river and am going back this summer and plan to hit the gorge and finish have time see the coast and aquarium for a day
So fun to see this video! I work here in the CRGNSA for the U.S. Forest Service...come back when you have more time and hit me up - we can show you MORE waterfalls and fun hikes...there are so many adventures here in the scenic area. You're right...this is the best time of year to check out all the waterfalls. BTW, Oneonta... Own-Nee-On-Tah. Wahclella is my fave for family and friends (it's pretty and not too difficult) but you gotta come back for Eagle Creek!
Your last falls is my favorite in the Gorge. I hike it every year. Did yiu see the cave entrance to the right of the falls. You can crawl about 30 feet back and there is a circulare dome you can sit in.
That was the eagle creek fire I believe. 🤔 Y’all should check out the documentaries done on it. That was a really tragic loss of forest and national scenic land.
Great series, waterfalls are one of my favorite things to see and experience. After experiencing the 144 van what do you think your goals will be for your next van for solar panels and batteries? Always a thumbs up 👍
Thanks Jackie!! I think our electrical setup will be bigger than our current one in the next van. Hopefully 600amp hours, I’d be fine with 400 watts of solar again and either a Li-Bim or a DC to Dc charger. We def want an AC in our van so we can go to hot climates
Loved your Oregon series. I'm new to your vlog-I'm liking what I've seen so far! If you get back to the Gorge, you should do the Eagle Creek trail all the way to Tunnel Falls. An awesome hike. I posted a few pics on my Instagram page if interested.
This looks like an amazing part of the world! Do you think you'll make changes to your van based on your experience with the Storyteller? Or just wait 'til your next build?
New subscriber...suggest you keep the camera more on the subject and less on yourselves when talking about them. We really wanted to see more of the falls but most of the time the camera was on you talking about them. Not a good TH-cam experience. Looking forward to see if you change your future methods. 😊

He is smart to hydrate before going on walks.
Haha Hydrate or die! 💦👍🏻

This looks like an amazing part of the world!
Do you think you'll make changes to your van based on your experience with the Storyteller? Or just wait 'til your next build?
It definitely is! We’ll wait until our next build for sure!
That van company should send you guys a free van to keep!
Hahaha that would be incredible!!!
"On-e-on-ta" Gorge
