I love Saudia Airline because of this facility. No airline from any Muslim country had the guts to sacrifice some seats for Prayer area. Long live Saudia airline
@@ayishaarshed6438 Whilst Etihad Airways does have a section for prayers on board its Boeing 787 Dreamliner and Airbus A380s, the airline will only give you a prayer mat and you will be directed to pray near the door and a curtain will be drawn for privacy. Etihad do not have have a dedicated prayer area for 10 passengers at a time on carpeted floor, which is also given more padding with a large prayer mat.
Very good initiative specially for Muslims people. In-Sa-Allah for Umraah & for Hajj if Almighty Allah will grant my wish I will try travel through Saudi Airlines.... Please Pray for me Brothers & Sisters that In-Sa-Allah I can perform Hajj & Umraah one day before I die...... Amiin.
Yep they’ve had it for a long time but just thought it would be nice to show and highlight them as many people still don’t know and videos help massively:)
Ticket of Saudi Airlines is very very expensive specially for Umrah people. They must reduce the price of ticket, people are not going for pleasure they are going to perform religious duty. Some people want to go perform the UMRAH unfortunately they can't effort, because the ticket price is to high. Saudi Airline and government of Saudi Arabia must consider this problem. JazakALLAH. From London😊 😊
Assalam alaikum it would be appreciated if you can do video for people trying out travelling for the first time. for example, how to stretch your money for trying to do 2/3 countries in one go
There is no seperate prayer room in other airlines, however all the airlines will definitely have a curtain in the walkway which you can use and make it a prayer room- but only one person is able to pray at a time. Alhamdulillah I have been praying while flying since many years.
As a saudia cabin crew my self it is my pleasure to see and hear that from you and proud to have guest as you onboard, but one small thing I would love to mention that it is not allowed as per Saudia policy to change ihram in prayer area, I know it happened but as much as you love Saudia please don't put the cabin crew in a situation that they might get punished for. Thank you and I wish I get the chance to fly with you in the near future.
This prayer room onboard can sometimes become a pain in the head experience. I ll definitely be making sure if I book with Saudia next time I do not reserve my seat next to the praying area.
I don't know where did you get 'the best airline title from. Saudia Is one of the worst Arab and Muslim airlines, ranked 23. Whilst Qatar airways and Emirates are in the top 6. Let It be clear and to the point. No false publicity please.
And besides, views of vloggers are very subjective and its one's opinions vs anothers. This is no way based on stats, reviews, media coverage on the topic. Would useful to understand these nuances before commenting :)

@@JuberAhmedTravel nope there no space they are not giving only the said pray while seated plus we have long flight from United States 15 hours we are missing a lots of prayer
In Islam you can’t go on a multi-hour flight without praying, and can’t pray in their seat? I’m for religious rights and Islam, but just surprised is all.
It’s not so much about praying on a flight, it’s more about timings of prayers. In Islam, there are five daily mandatory prayers. If the timing falls in for one of the prayers and you are on board a flight, you still pray even if it’s whilst seated. It is much preferred to stand and pray if you are able to do so. The fact that Saudi airlines have a space accommodated for standing and praying even onboard a flight is what I found great about the airline. 😉
@@christerry1773 valid point. So normally there is a wide timeframe for each prayer, and so one can make each of their five prayers in between these times. So people basically take turns to use that small area in the plane and its done quite sensibly - at least that has been my experience :) So say for example the prayer after midday - you normally have like 2-3 hours to offer that prayer. So, if there's multiple people wanting to pray, they can move in and out of the prayer room within those hours. Only one prayer which is at sunset needs to be prayed pretty quickly and so it can get busy then on the plane. However, again its done sensibly usually where people wait their turns as for the sunset prayer you still have a 20-30 min time frame. The rest of the 4 prayers you have a timeframe of hours in which to make the prayer.
Etihad DOES NOT HAVE A DEDICATED PRAYER AREA for 6-8 passengers at a time on a carpeted floor, which is also given more padding with a large prayer mat. Whilst Etihad Airways does have a section for prayers on board its Boeing 787 Dreamliner and Airbus A380s, the airline will only give you a prayer mat and you will be directed to pray near the door and a curtain will be drawn for privacy.
This is the tricky part as you have to do it in the normal toilet sink. It’s not too bad and some of the toilets are slightly spacious. I normally take flip flops with me and wear those on flight and use a water bottle to help wash my feet. Obviously wipe and down and clean toilet floor before you leave.
Yes women can pray in the space. Sometimes I have seen only women there and sometimes I’ve seen 3 men and then 3 women behind. But in any case, women and men can both pray in there. Sometimes all women and sometimes all men and sometimes mixed.
Good point. It’s largely because Muslims have very practical observances such as the five daily prayers and as it’s mandatory, Saudi airlines have accommodated for this. The prayer room on board is not like a quiet room - it’s a very practical spot which anyone can really use, but mostly Muslims do as they are more practical in their religious observances, especially when it comes to prayers. Hope that clarifies 😉

Etihad Airways (of AbuDhabi Zayed Intl [AUH/OMAA]) they have prayer rooms but it's not that big and is in the door areas
❤Masya Allah... KLIA aero train still not working... What a shame
No way you can fit 6 ppl there bro. i have travelled in Saudia and prayed in there. At max 3. with one in the front and 2 in the back row.
Saudi Airlines has been the worst since I have flying it since 1980. The worst is poor behaviour of staff and the scum at Saudi airports
Alhamdolillah ❤❤ welcome back 🎉🎉🎉

Interesting, when I flew from Riyadh to Medina and then Medina to Jeddah for Umrah, there was no prayer area, perhaps it's only for bigger planes?

Brother there are many airlines that serve halal foods these days . You are making it our that only Saudi Airlines has. Is this a paid review???
I’ve simply added halal food and no alcohol on board as part of a list of features of this airline. That’s all.
Very nice
Unfortunately the Saudi Airlines I took from Mauritius to Jeddah didn't have space to change ihram so people had to use the bathroom.
Lol holly shit
what about qibla? the plane is moving frequently
The video clearly shows that on the screen in the prayer room, it shows a Qiblah pointer!

I think if you ask on Emirates, they should let you near the back. Though they will only probably give space for one person.
