Freaky coincidence... I was just watching a video on here that mentions the story of Babel, so I start singing this song in my head, flip back to my subs and Emily *finally* just posted a cover of this tune. Creepy and beautiful experience all at once.
I first discovered you 12 years ago with your cover of "you". Your music has always been a comforting constant through it all. Ten of those years were a constant struggle with alcohol. To the point that ive been in a coma for nearly a week from just withdrawl seizures. I now have chronic pancreatitis and can no longer eat solid food, but have been booze free for two years. My point is that i didnt think i could enjoy life sober, but music like yours helps me remember that all those good feelings are inside me and music can bring them to the surface instead of alcohol!!

I've listened to this song hundreds of times and never realized that there's a wonky lyric. Babel's walls did not come crashing down. Jericho's walls came crashing down. Babel was the physical tower to heaven that we tried to build before God broke it and language. Dr. Graffin doesn't often make mistakes. Maybe this wasn't one either

This song makes me want to cry. Felt like the faux god I used to fear would build me up just to tear me down and watch my squirm after breaking my legs so I couldn't get away. That was how they kept sheep, break the legs of the strays so they can never leave you until ready to be eaten.
