Still listening to this band. My mom told me it was my dad’s favorite band of all time he died when I was 2 so this reminds me of him 😇☺️ coming back to this comment reminded I had a couple photos of him somewhere and I actually found a picture of my dad with Greg Hetson!
Lovely legacy to carry on 🙏
@@onslaughtmma5110 thank you and yes ☺️
Your dad had great taste. As a dad myself I am teaching my young girls the same!
❤️😭
Hell yeah 🤘🏾 R.I.P. to your Pop's ✌🏾
In times like these, bands like these are needed.
For reals
Chris Carter Especially now

Bad Religion was formed in 1979, recorded 15 albums and stayed true to their true punk roots for 30 plus years. Dosent it seem like they deserve more recognition!
I still remember when this came out... and was on punk-o-rama... those were the days. ❤
This still stands true 13 years after your comment was posted.
Ive been a BR fan since suffer, trust me there is alot of us out there.
A friend of mine passed away from Covid last year, and today is his birthday. Bad Religion was one of his favorite bands, listening in his honor. RIP Bess
Sorry for your lost, mate
Be strong dude i lost my uncle to this covid shit too, God bless you
stay strong dude!
stay strong!!!
Your friend didn’t die from Covid. They had underlying issues
2024 anyone?

You know it
Yep I'm here.

Can't wait to cry to this live
The one line that hits me in this song is "Just to settle a bet that could not be won, between a prideful father and his son." My dad and I had a turbulent relationship. Sometimes we would have periods of time where we didn't talk to each other and at one point it last almost two years. It was because of our pride and stubborness. We reconciled and then he passed away in November of last year. I know he loves and cares about me and I still love him. He had a lot of pent up anger and I don't think he ever managed his mental health in the best way. A couple months after his celebration of life, I had a dream about him. He was smiling, I ran to him and gave him a hug. I said I missed him and he said it back. Then he said that he had to go. It was bittersweet but I believe he's in a better place where there is no sorrow or pain.
Rest in Peace to your father
He is where we all go in the end. Home.
Sorry for your loss friend. I find Bad Religion to be one of those bands that I listened to an loved as a kid, but now the lyrics impact me way more than when I was younger (I'm 35 now and a dad myself). They have a lot to say and it's usually very good stuff.
Anybody here in 2024?
I Love this song! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Epic........Im here....perfect Memorial Day song!
I've loved this tune since I was in college (2002) I still dig it today. Another really good one from this band is "Slumber"
I've loved this song for 20 years... here's to 20 more
@@AntunesMuehombo-br9ij Yes. Us olds. 💙✌️🗽🏴☠️
In my opinion, Bad Religion is one of the few bands that hold a mirror up to society.
Nicely said
I totally agree
Best Band ever. I completely support antiestablishmentarianism.
WELL SAID!!!
Flee for refuge from eternal punishment. Why should you suffer forever for your sin? Your refuge is in Jesus Christ alone!
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
whew...most don't care... There will be...
His voice is so soothing, something about it makes me feel happy and welcoming.
Hello there, good day to you and is is nice seeing you here.
Sorrow
Father, can you hear me?
How have I let you down?
I curse the day that I was born
And all the sorrow in this world
Let me take you to the herding ground
Where all good men are trampled down
Just to settle a bet that could not be won
Between a prideful father and his son
Will you guide me now? For I can't see
A reason for the suffering and this long misery
What if every living soul could be upright and strong?
Well then I do imagine
There will be sorrow
Yeah, there will be sorrow
And there will be sorrow no more
When all soldiers lay their weapons down
Or when all kings and all queens relinquish their crowns
Or when the only true messiah rescues us from ourselves
It's easy to imagine
There will be sorrow
Yeah, there will be sorrow
And there will be sorrow no more
There will be sorrow
Yeah, there will be sorrow
And there will be sorrow no more
Yeah, there will be sorrow
Yeah, there will be sorrow
And there will be sorrow no more

Haha, good one! 😝
I remember the first time I saw Bad Religion on Vans Warped Tour back in 04' and I moshed my way to the front just to get close. It was worth it. When the started to perform "Sorrow" I saw and heard everyone around me stop everything they were doing and sang along. It was beautiful.
I had a similar experience at warp tour Denver
Teh Gwen That sounds freaking awesome
Perfect player
Adrian ?
Same exact experience I had! Except I was in 5th grade and it was 09 Warped Tour.
It's 2024, folks, can we still bring respect to this legend of an artist?
Such a beautiful song. Best punk band ever? No doubt.
I'd prefer Rancid over it but I love this band, too.
I love Rancid
No Doubt wasn’t much of a punk band
Paul Bowen i actually prefer dead milkmen but br is great! I’m more into beachy punk if that makes sense.
nofx
This is definitely one of the best songs of all time ever written.
The book of Job is one of the best books ever written
@@Valdezpainting505why do you say that?
This song brings tears to my eyes every time I hear it, especially if I'm having a rough time. The message of hope delivered in those harmonies is so moving. I only wish the song was twice as long.

Greg Graffin's voice is ridiculously amazing.
Its crazy how many people come back to this everyday... this song is a masterpiece!
The book is a poetic masterpiece
2021 and still needs to be turned loud and listened to by many.

Yess
this is the lullaby i sing to my son every single night since he was born. he's 4 now and he still wants me to sing it to him every night.
By far an underrated band if there ever was one.
AdventuresOfTheKanFam they are legends
They aren't underrated, people just listen to shit these days and bands like this who have been around forever fall by the wayside
AdventuresOfTheKanFam i dont know how they're underated
Underrated? This band has been winning awards since 1979.
AdventuresOfTheKanFam
Hate to break it to you, but they are the "rate" that many bands aspire to.
I was listening to the band when they first kicked-off and I listen to them still. 63 years young and still there is Bad Religion in my life. Class is age-less.
Awesome stuff. 31 here, I braved the world by myself at 17 to get into one of their concerts. Very memorable, still one of my favourites.
Finally got to see them, and NOFX at like 38, I'm 42 in February. It blows my mind that I thought of both those bands as being adults when I was in like 9th grade. Punks not dead. If I wasn't a punk what the fuck would I be? A way of life meant a way of life.
15 here and been listening for a little while, Bad religion really transcends age
Been listening since I was 15 in 1986…still listening.
I felt literal chills watching this again after so many years and just how relevant the message still is today... music just makes you feel emotions within you that you cannot explain.
21st century digital boy and flat earth society also belong to the most relevant bad religion songs these days.
Same here I was 14 when I would listen to this awesome band,I'm 32 now.

112 is an abundant number, a heptagonal number, and a Harshad number. It's totient function is 48.
I love how these skinny, nerdy-looking, thoroughly average guys write some of the most awesome punk music the world has ever heard. No flash, all substance.
Thats what punk is all about!
No style all substance*
BR and Descendents are the kings of humble nerd punk.🤘

This is not only one of the most beautiful songs by Bad Religion, but one of the most beautiful songs in rock history.
One of the best songs ever made
MickeRamone with a great cover of it, by you of course😉
I love the Sex Pistols lonely boy amazing song or American Jesus another great Bad Religion song
I love American Jesus. But I love this one as well
My favorite Bad Religion song.
A lot of 90s punk is sounding even more relevant today🤔
The Process of Belief was released in 2002, but I hear what you're saying.
@Jon Tap unfortunately
@@ProfessorPancakes420 I've abused too many braincells and the years are blending together😵
Boy you had no idea
this lyrics are relevant at any point in time were life exists.
Not enough room with all those microphones for Gregg to do some quality pointing.
I laughed out loud.
Aye!
fckn right
Best comment in this thred!
Needs more microphones

this was my fiancee's favorite song...he was in the process of learning it when he passed away...so it will always mean so much to me and my children
I'm so sorry for your loss. I hope your life is better now all these years later.
Rest in glory!🕯️💐
Your kids would be proud to have had such a cool dad❤
One of the best songs of all time.
just saw them live yesterday in Texas and they are fantastic. this song love is beautiful, they're really underrated. love this band!
I'm a Christian and I'm a big fan of this band! I've gotten in trouble from other Christian friends and relatives because of this, but I don't care! They're music is badass!
Me too!! [not the getting in trouble - but the Christianity]
:D
th-cam.com/video/bbxrUtLOIZ0/w-d-xo.html
There Christian.. Just ask them to forgive you lmao
I'm glad you can appreciate the music even if you don't agree with the message.
The world needs more people like you.
Man, Phil Coulson is something else. Running SHIELD and heading up a punk band? Hard thing to do.
LOL. Done.
lmao!!👍👍👍
you're holding a W for that
Who new Mo Rocca could play such a badass guitar solo?
This isn't his first rodeo.
i love how huge this band is, yet they're all really approachable and down to earth guys.
Such a great song... Powerful lyrics...
Love love love Bad Religion
Love his voice! One of the best punk bands ever.
Why is this so good?? Like Bad Religion is too underated =[
***** it's but it is, look at the views...
+Rafael Sanna who gives a fuck about views?
Mastah Tremblyy the band, views = fans, money, public for the band...
+Ben Dover too.......that is all.
+Rafael Sanna Because main stream pop, rap, etc. is the music that TIME WARNER & Disney push.. That type of music is to help Divide us. Music like Bad Religion & other similar bands help to join the cultures, so they will never get the mainstream attention. They... (New World Order) want us divided.. just look at the racial issues pushed on TV.. Then see the interracial commercials pushed (as if we are all somehow wrong for forming relationships with friends of the same color) (I saw a Christmas commercial this year with every ethnic group at the same party) While I have zero problems with that, it's just not logical. (Am I suppose to feel bad) It's all for the same purpose. The media knows nothing but division so they can break up the culture. United we Stand, Divided we FAIL. Divide is the goal of the Elite, then system fail, then chaos. At that point is will be easy for them to destroy us so "they" can rebuild the world as they see fit. Many books published on this, but its hopeless to try an fix the problem.. the system is to big, the brain washing is done, now all we can do is hope for a few more years of stability. Peace
As a Christian I can really enjoy this song. So sincere
Heard American Jesus yet?
+Mario Cobian Jr. It was written to a response George Bush senior said. Stating That This Country Is The Fittest And Powerful Thanks To.....Well Jesus
+Mario Cobian Jr. Haha Greg graffins is an outspoken atheist and the lyrics for American Jesus are satirical, sarcastic.
I'm definitely influenced by Graffin
Glad you aren't closed minded because of the name of the band. They're songs ALL have great messages. Listen to the entire "SUFFER" album. One of my top 20 favorite album's
Im homeless sitting here in a hotel right next to a military base, caregiver to a very ill the disabled son of a disceeced combat veteran who is also homeless and denied housing over and over by various state agencies, trying to keep him going in a world that doesnt seem to care. He is a savant musician, but the world doesnt seem to care about him or his gifts. He showed me this song , this band was his first influence, and tells me of his story and wishes for a kinder more loving world that cared about people like him. When every one lays down their weapons the biggest one , their selfish pride.
I remember DISTINCTLY, working for at a shoe store and this song playing in our rotation and instantly connecting with this song. From the intro, to the vocals, to the drumline.... it all resonated in me in a way that i cannot describe. 🤘🤘🤘
bad religion was/is one of my favorite bands of all time. i'm in my mid 30's now, and had my first bad religion record when i was in 6th grade. as a youth growing up in this sorrowful world, greg graffin's impact steered me in the right direction
i forgot how much i love this band, timeless classics
My step dad liked these guys. Seen them rocking at a concert recently, only knew one of their jams ( do what you want) but the energy they had made a fan out of me. These guys rock!!
This is one of those songs i find myself singing over & over. Legendary
Hello there, good day to you and it is nice seeing you here.
Im a senior and this is my number one favorite song to this day and when i play this song every senior sings along but anyone junior or lower doesn't know this song, if you do your amazing
Its so rare to see a artist that actually sounds better vocally live than recorded.
One of the best songs by Bad Religion. Listened to these guys when I was in high school and they still sound as good (if not better) as they did 20+ years ago.
what a amazing song and band, one of my favourites, this bring me to my adolescent when i start skating, golden times
Im from Portugal and I love Bad Religion and this song!
I'm feeling sorrow that I have just discovered these poets and musicians extraordinaire
This song always kinda brings a hopeful tear to my eye. I just get to such a deep place where I can almost just have a cathartic cry.
Amazing song by one of my top 5 bands.....way ahead of time.....
They will always be my favorite band. Forever Bad Religion
Hello there, good day to you and is is nice seeing you here.
Great song. Great message.
Love this band!
I've been listening to bad religion since I was 8 years old. My older brother gave me my first cassette of suffer. Been a huge fan ever since!
I absolutely love the lyrics to this song.
Bad religion is your favorite punk band’s favorite punk band.
The subtle exploding noise during the chorus.....i like it.
My sister finagled the legal system to lock my father in a home. He went on a hunger strike and died on Father's day 2023. I did everything I could to stop it and failed. This song changed for me then. I cant stop listening to it now. It is literally better than a shrink, drugs or sex to cope. Just pop it on the moment I'm feeling the pain. "And there will be sorrow no more"
Una banda que interpreta sus canciones con huevos, como debe ser. Toda la vida siguiendo a Bad Religion.
2022, me, 67, JUST saw them play at Punk in the Park OC, same members, still great, inspired prophetic unsung heroes of our generation. Nearly froze to death, worth every second!!!!!
nice!
The great wall of China would kick so much ass if it actually had all those speakers blasting this song.
+Guybrush Threepwood Yeah, that way the enemy can stop and enjoy the music as the archers (or whatever,) pick them off. Last song the enemy enjoys, but hey. Then your men can pretty much get through the day so much quicker and easier because they have one of the best Punk bands (imo) blasting out tunes.
Guybrush Threepwood you can have them speakers built by me i can make some bad ass custom sh!t
Amazing band, only found out about them a year or so ago, can't get enough
오랜만에 들으니 너무 좋습니다!!
Anyone still listening in 2019? Great tune great band!
My dad just passed away. I remember in my childhood he would blast this out on his CD player and sing a long. I’m hoping to get this played at his funeral
Gonna miss him
Sorry to hear about your loss.
Sorry for your loss
Epic...nor more words needed! Pure Love!
My dad passed away this past year and this song always makes me think of him. The last phone call we had together was about what he wanted me to do with my life. He told me he didn’t want me to keep working these crummy jobs and wanted to have a better life....
I am so obsessed with this song 😭😍
we all are
Well.. don't give up on your obsession!
here here☝️
With the passion exuded from the lyrics to the instruments it's easy to see why 😆
Would make a banging bluegrass tune
Bad Religion one of the best punk bands ! Sorrow has to be the song I love the most next to Infected.
Andy Mahasongkham Infected was the first Bad Religion song I heard. I then proceeded to purchase any albums I could find. When I was a freshman, the senior class had this ceremony that everybody was required to attend. They played Infected 😵 I wanted to start a pit.
this song man, it just good old rock, makes me sing it every time i hear it
Gracias por existir...
3am on a Saturday my junior year, my first crush introduced me to Bad Religion. Thank you Amanda scott
The best sonf of bad religion, when i was a kid my father played this song in the car to goes to the school and today when i heard all the melodies i remember a lot of moments and giv me a lot of feeling
Bad Religion in all their glory! Top notch track. Such a great song 👍
His voice has matured/been refined so well I would love to hear some old songs redone like leaders and followers.

Hello there, good day to you and is is nice seeing you here.
Fantastic song, a perfect mix of Country and Punk
My dad was a hippie in the 60s and showed me bands like zeppelin, floyd, the who etc when I was a little kid. When I got older, I started burning him CDs of music that I discovered during my adolescence. I put Sorrow on several CDs and now it's one of his favorite songs :D
this is my first time listening to them. they're really cool !
Enjoy how amazing this band is.

Hello there, good day to you and is is nice seeing you here.
É foda existem coisas que realmente ficam nas nossas vidas, está música faz parte da minha vida.
I listen this music until now and forever.
I saw this band in Brockton a few years back during nofx's punk in drublic tour, It was outside, pouring, and this song was playing, being a part of that muddy circle pit, singing these lyrics, truly felt like a religious experience, bad religion is fucking rad.
What a master piece. These lyrics give me peace to know that there are others who believe in peace the way that I do. THISDYSTOPIADOESNTHAVETOEXIST.
Bad Religion for president
fuck yeah
anarchy rains supreme
tim ramone hell yeah Greg Graffin. Is an incredibly smart man
While the guys are very intelligent and well meaning, hell no.
Why not
