It's not like you said any number of misogynistic and offensive words that you could have used. I find it very sad that we live in a climate that is so politically correct and terrified of its own shadow that we actually become more institutionalized racist because of it. Who sounds more in touch? Somebody who says "a black guy"? Or someone who shuffles their feet, doesn't make eye contact, and says "African American", when that moniker is not even geographically correct half the time? Scott Thompson, one of the first openly gay voices on network tv, actually defends being able to lampoon one's self and take a joke. I totally applaud his attitudes, and being progressive today, at least in my opinion, is embracing the middle road, and not being an extremist in any regard. Evaluate everything for what it is worth on a case by case basis. Just my two cents. I am also happy that this chick exists, very much :)

I discovered your BR covers a couple years ago, and I gotta say I was completely blown away. I've been listening to BR for over 22 years, since I was 14 years old. I've played in punk bands here in Albuquerque for the past 18 years and even was lucky enough to open for Bad Religion here when they toured off Empire Strikes First. No doubt they are my fav. These songs are really well done. How can I get my hands on some actual recordings of these BR songs?
