Honestly for the options you get on the high country vs what you would get on Ford and Rams top trim levels, you get a better deal for the money.

Agree. I'm a ram guy for the past 20 years, but I can no longer afford a Ram 3500 Limited Cummins with their price hikes. I bought this same truck but in a HC midnight edition for 83k out the door. The Ram Limited Cummins was almost 20k more option for option.
Agreed. I looked at Ford, Ram, and GMC. Bought a Chevrolet Silverado 2500 L5P High Country. So far so good, an awesome 7,500 miles in…
Your stinckin right about it being the best diesel truck, Benji!
I have one. Crooked steering wheel back to the dealer 3 times and a super loud rear suspension squeak all with less than 5000 miles. A close friend with the same truck drove it for 50 miles last week laughed at it. He couldn't believe it.
Less than 5k miles? Thats a you purposely abusing your truck man
Nope. It's a curb queen. It xane with a crooked steering wheel. I finally had a fit in the service department and they fixed the steering wheel. All it needed was a toe adjustment. The suspension noise they blame me because I had it fluid filmed which is a lubricant. They just are blowing me off.
I had issues!! Limp mode and dashlights flashing, engine light on etc. This all happened twice at under 500 miles. They were fiianlly able to take my truck in and applied a service bulltin software update. Lets see what happens and of this fixes it....
I have a similar truck to the video. Sharkskin paint color, heads up display, BFG KO3 tire upgrade, etc…. After 7,500 miles, only complaint is today’s paint on vehicles is ridiculously bad. Mine had about 3 issues spots from the factory, but I lived with it as the dealer would have certainly made worse 😂😂😂.
I have a 2024 3500 Duramax transmission went out at 10000 know am taking back again at 21000 transmission kicking again and chevy cant find me a replacement truck no chevy dealer wants to give it up corporate cant do nothing to give me another truck worse decision ever stay away from this truck everybody trucks been in the dealer half the time i owed it. 🤦
All for 1400.00 a month for 72 months at 9-10% apr with a 700+ credit score and a ten thousand down payment, yeah go ahead!
$10000 😬😬
Not everyone is poor like you
The LT and LTZ models exist if you want leather
nope, most are paying cash or have a 50k trade in......guys I know with the highest trims have lowest auto payments
lot of people have money out there, this isnt a truck for the poor
Can you review a 2024 6.2L AT4 vs Trail boss?
Beautiful.
Hey Ben, love the review on the 2024 Chevy Silverado. I have a question, concerning the rear end of the Chevy, (referring to the tailgate). For the multi-flex tailgate on the Chevys all of them do not have a built-in kicker sound system, only GMC trucks have a built-in kicker sound system, how is that?
you have to get it in a pkg end trim or on either brand....they are not standard
AT4x and the Denali ultimate are possibly the only trims that have it standard....the rest is all optional.
Nice truck early gang
Currently own 16 Ram 2500 diesel, with Laramie trim and only 60k on the odometer. If I could afford a new truck, it would be a new Chevrolet/GMC HD.

What makes gm diesels so good is that they have kept the same basic engine for many many years…same block…no tinkering like ford and dodge. They haven’t really participated in the hp/tq wars…they go for dependability
2024 Chevrolet Silverado 3500HD Heavy-Duty High Country 6.6L Duramax Diesel Allison 10-Speed Automatic Crew Cab 4X4!
I'm a gm guy but if I ever buy a gm vehicle it would be any of their performance vehicles or the heavy duty trucks and full size suv's. They dont make any reliable affordable vehicles anymore. Sad that every american brand is shifting to this premium kinda thing which they are not.
I want that.
Do you notice a difference in steering between this and a ram 3500? Like one feels tighter than the other?
Chevy is a little better, but not by much
@@BenHardyCars yeah thats what I think too. Didn’t know if it was just me. I think the independent suspension of the Chevy helps.
has digital variable assist steering....makes a big difference, My High Country steers way better than my 2 LTs did
Cool Silverado!

Loving my new 2023 F250 Powerstroke ❤
Ford Sucks
$90,000. 😂
I thought high country is only for family cars like suburban and tahoe but for silverado it is a work truck ot other
Cant hear the engine bro
yeap it is a better deal.
I'll never understand why people feel it's important to jump into a brand new cold vehicle and start revving the engine. Just not smart!
Real trucks have 8ft beds for real work!!!
No bench seat that’s just wrong !
it's called "chevrolet" not "chevy"
The 10 speed transmission kills horsepower of this truck...
I guess swapping this 10 speed with those Zf's 8 speed would be better. Maybe more reliable too, I agree this is a good transmission but it's a not a complete allision built ones they are just using the name.
