You are my favorite person. All these classic Steelers games. I remember this like the back of my hand. So many times I'd record the Steelers from the 90s through 2000s and tape over it, thinking I wouldn't watch it again and then years later wishing I had each and every game.
They were lucky to even reach the AFC Championship game that season, they should have lost to the NY Jets the week prior. And no rookie QB ever made a SB. This season set the foundation for the next few years of success!
Maybe the only game in NFL history were opposing rookie quarterbacks drilled their own left tackle in the back of the head with a pass, Elias needs to check on that.

@jnyfumare I think Ben's worst season was 8-8. Eli was a total LOSER from 2012 to 2019. That stated: the Patriots losing one of those SBs is understandable, but 2 is just PUTRID, even though NFL Parity affects all teams and it's inescapable.
As steelers fan I always loved faceoff giants. Giants are awesome team I hope they make a great comeback and put dallas in last place. You giants rock from the heart of steelers fan myself❤🏈🤲🙌🙂
Got to say, I've always had a soft spot for the Giants. Plus the Giants REALLY endeared themselves to me when you all beat the Patriots twice in the big game, and when they had a perfect record, no less. Eli was a great playoff QB. The higher the stakes, the better he played. HOF'er in my book.

Back in 2004 there were no smart phones, no apps, no Stub Hub, no Vivid Tickets etc…..all ticket access was either by calling or going to the box office….how prehistoric

He gets all this shit..because of leading the league in 30 INTs, Jameis career is 7.7 YPA; Brady's is 7.5, Brees is 7.6. I'm dying to see Jameis in a Sean Payton offense; actually, anywhere at all, 7.7 YPA is exciting shit; AND it was through 3 different schemes in Tampa. Dude never had Eli's continuity same Gilbride scheme for 8 seasons.

Defense was not on point that game, but that's Eli at times. The guy was fearless.
