Another thing about the pre-owned items, they will also add items that you have leased and then returned. For instance I leased a plow and then returned it right away just to find it in the pre owned section with a 17% discount.
I wish you could lease equipment, then have an option to buy… rather than return it and then buy. Some equipment comes with lots of options, and after getting it setup just the way you want it you have to start all over if you choose to buy.
What I love about FS22 is they added things for the community to do their let’s-play and role playing!!! Added easier ways to build a farm from the ground up!!! The editor is amazing!
AI improvements sold me on this. Always been more intrigued by the management more than driving up and down a field for hours. Haven't played it yet so we'll see if it works as expected.
It's incredibly disappointing that they couldn't be bothered with actually making it look like vehicles are strapped down visually. That was a feature in Construction Sim 2015, so there's no excuse why it's not a thing in this game in 2021.
if this is your biggest disappointment, the game is doing pretty good lol. What a stupid nitpicky thing to be "disappointed" about though. How will you play knowing that this isn't a thing? Oh, and btw, IT IS a thing with pallets, boxes, etc, at least on the personal truck.
So most of this we had in FS19. Seasons, other bale sizes and used vehicle dealer with Mods. Also Manual Transmissions and Multiple Contracts. Player Customization is new also Field Care as i know. And the graphics and the sound is a bit better. I have FS19 with all DLCs what was not cheap so i am glad i keep with FS19 and my Mods instead of buying FS22.
No more guessing on what type of equipment you need, oh am I glad that they added that option in the game, along with the pack option. I am also glad that they finally added production chains and that you can have something to do in between harvesting plowing and planting, no more having to fast forward time as much just to do something. Another thing which I have more of a question is I like the AI running from field to sell point but then I want to know will they pick up a pallet of production chain stuff and take that to the next location, I know you can set it to go to the next location but I actually want to know if the AI can. In general I am loving all the new features and cannot wait to start playing tomorrow. You reminded me of something and that's vehicle straps thank you Giants. Immediately cheats and adds in some money. 😆
If you hold the gas and break (Xbox RT & LT) it works as a poor man's clutch. At least you can change gears without running into things in tight places etc. And holding RT + pressing Left Thumb stick down will go from forward to reverse and vice versa without dropping all the way down. I know I was struggling with manual controls right away haha
The pack's only shows you the min required stuff you need to do that type of thing.... be warned that the min stuff is sometimes way worse then the stuff you may alright have..

Hi DJ! Thank you for this video. I have a couple questions for you. I play FS 19 and am looking at getting FS 22, but I am physically disabled so I play a VERY simple game (I do everything on the controller with one hand and/or my chin). For example, I don’t play with productions or seasons. I just grow and stock up on certain crops that I will need for my animals and then I slowly add my animals and take care of them and my fields, but that is about it. I might do more in the future but right now it is easier this way (sorry if this is TMI). Anyway, you mention in this video that there is more to do with the fields then just cultivate, plant and harvest and my question is - do you absolutely have to do that extra stuff, or can you turn it off or just not do it? Also, I have never played seasons (again because it is to much), but I like the idea of being able to have snow. Could I have snow without playing seasons? I’m assuming not? Thanks!
Disclaimer: I don't own the game, this is just what I've gathered from this and other videos. As far as I can tell you can use each of the 4 options (seasonal growth, day per month, in-game month and snow) in the season part separate. So you should be able to disable the seasonal growth, but keep the rotating months and accompanying visuals.
Surprised no one has answered you. Yes you can turn it all off. This years Farm sim is all about production so don't make much selling crops as you would turning crops into other products, ie. Sunflowers into sunflower oil or oats into Cereal. There's also a multi fruit silo mod that you can buy all the products from to make it easier and fun if that's your speed or Government Subsidy to give you more money than you will ever need in game. Happy Farming!

@@Chris_Restall this is my personal mistake. I was on my pc and it did not have the Canadian flag emoji. It showed up as CA which is an abbreviation for California. I apologize with my mistake and will hopefully move forward with this information.
You can also use equipment on one contract to another, like, 2 Beets Harvester Self-Propelled machine to harvest them at both ends of each fields, instead of taking twice as long.
Is this game beginner friendly? I haven’t played FS before, is it a major grind or can you casually pick it up and play for an hour or two per night? Thanks
Tbh, yes, yes it is. There are ingame turtorials that tell you the basics (which are basically enough for the beginning) and with time, you learn how to improve and master the game. Also, since you can always change difficulty which is basically just how much money you get for crops and other stuff you sell, you can always change the experience to a realistic one where you have to grind or a very casual one where you can earn a lot in just a few hours of playing. Now if you don't mind plowing a field for ½h (which really just is part of the real farming experience honestly), I think there is nothing holding you back from buying the game.
Heard about this game a lot. So bought PS5 version a week ago. Checking about real life farming equipments around, I guess tech simulation of the game seems to be cool. However, it certainly needs a touch on world graphics and functionality of several interactive points. Also driving controls needs to be smoother and a bit more realistic. This game is a serious candidate to be an icon in few years, if the game developers concentrate on improving overall realism. In this shape, it reminds me the initial versions of MSFS.
Great info Dj !!! I look forward to a video on the AI driver because they don’t have a good reputation of getting things done correctly 🤔😀 like fair enough they may drive places ok but as far as doing a oddly shaped field with a cliff on one end I’m not too sure where they will end up 🤔😂

@@Chris_Restall this is my personal mistake. I was on my pc and it did not have the Canadian flag emoji. It showed up as CA which is an abbreviation for California. I apologize with my mistake and will hopefully move forward with this information.
It ain't much, but it's virtual work.
15:35 Yo Djgoham the 4755 is actually a powershift not a manual.
I went from FS15 to FS22 so yes, I’ll expect a lot of changes. But hey I’m enjoying the game with lots of mods.
Bro like most of it is already in fs 17 as far as im aware, and i dont think that fs 19 wouldnt have those features
The bales look so good
I noticed that to
I agree
You can get 1 contract per farms at a time. 2 farms, = 2 contracts at a time max up to 8 each.
in FS19.
You can also use equipment on one contract to another, like, 2 Beets Harvester Self-Propelled machine to harvest them at both ends of each fields, instead of taking twice as long.
Contracts are broken. I've had a few say the wrong fields. Says 37, but wasn't it and drove until I found the right field and it was 36..
On Xbox fast way to build mode press LB and the double square or select button and build mode will activate without going into the menu 😊
I've bought every bale rapper in game the wraps square bales... Can't get them to wrap. Now I have a bunch of square bales I can't do anything with
Not everything will strap down the semi trucks and pickup trucks dont strap
"Actually it's, 16 o'clock in the evening" HAHAHA you kill me DJ
So if I have a Logitech g923 wheel, pedals and shifter on xbox I csnt use the clutch on my pedals?
@@l0rdzie117 Thanks very much for your detailed response, swayed me to buy it :)
Let's go can't wait to money shift my tractor
Heard about this game a lot. So bought PS5 version a week ago. Checking about real life farming equipments around, I guess tech simulation of the game seems to be cool. However, it certainly needs a touch on world graphics and functionality of several interactive points. Also driving controls needs to be smoother and a bit more realistic. This game is a serious candidate to be an icon in few years, if the game developers concentrate on improving overall realism. In this shape, it reminds me the initial versions of MSFS.
Get a gaming PC rig mate and you'll be surprised... kinda like FSX but for farming and on limited maps. .

@@elast9522 ?
I found the graphics to be quite good, especially in 4K
7:26 actually annoying because you can't build somewhere you found a good spot without having to move away and find it again with the top down camera
Definitely sold me on switching over from 19, great video.
Glad to hear it!
How long do you think it will take for lone oak to be brought over
I hope so that was my favorite.
idk
I hope David ports his mods over to fs22
Great info Dj !!! I look forward to a video on the AI driver because they don’t have a good reputation of getting things done correctly 🤔😀 like fair enough they may drive places ok but as far as doing a oddly shaped field with a cliff on one end I’m not too sure where they will end up 🤔😂
I only use them for square fields and delivering gear from shop, they get conufsed easily still.
What i didnt like is that you cant enter your own farmhouse or businesses.
