I always do tuning myself on all my vehicles, I teach and explain people . But I could never explain aux screw influence in tuning to other guys. You did it so well !!. I see many mechs just keep the aux closed as they are not sure what to do with it .

You did wonderful job with bike its buffing and nickle work is very much appreciative, my senior's royal Enfield mechanismo is in workshop for whole work and modification of engine with old model bullet & heavy Crank but i am not satisfied with buffing, nickle and paint job, i hope he will do nice work on engine, i daily visit workshop for updates , hope i could get chance to visit your workshop, i live in uttar pradesh..

Brother! My bike has no auxiliary screw, it has starting chowke,,, ideal screw and air screw.... ! I set it as you mentioned in video,,, 1.5 (3 time) but one problem I'm facing while starting my bullet 350,,,, that I it is must that I pull the chowke! This is 1986 mfd bike,,, but carburetor is new one.
Timing gear tappet must be free to move . Check them when piston on top . Also adjust carburettor piston needle on second from top. 1.5 or 2 turn not recommended for all bike ot totally depends on the condition of your bike health like intake valves / head compression.

My re is 1985 model it has a problem of battery charging. In all time bike have low battery.icant start the bike in first kick .. .It is so harder to kick ..So plz help me
you will find one sweet spot where engine RPM will again increase...or possibly you are opening the screw very fast...do it very very slow to understand RPM...it should work. thanks
It is not 1.5 to 2. It is different for older models. I know this because I faced this problem with my 1977, while same settings worked with my 1999. I adjusted the same way for the 77 but it had no pickup and problem continued until I adjusted it again till the RPM stayed constant, and the turns were around 3 or more

yes but depends on. it should come to such point that counter clock or clockwise RPM should drop. if the point is perfect then RPM will be high. thanks

Sir i’ve a suzuki samurai. And what problem im facing is bike only runs on half turn out from fully seated on afr screw. Even on half turn bike misfures at lower rpms. Factory recommended is 1.40 turns out but when set the screw to 1.40 it is getting lean. Even it is on 1 turn it is running lean. I’ve not found any solution for this kind of problem. Recently it got rebored. Previously bike runs on 2 turns doesnt faced any kind of problem. After rebore im facing this. Intake manifold flange was new, carburetor o rings are new. Spark plug, cdi, ignition coil are new. Please help sir.

Sir..I have an old bullet with CI engine. the problem I'm facing is that when I need to stop at traffic signal or somewhere else I have to keep brake paddle pressed if I release brakes the bike starts moving without releasing clucth lever and if I tighten the cluctch to fix the problem the kick lever starts slipping. sometimes the engine switches off itself when I stop. What should be the remedy in this situation.
Sir in my bullet 350 1989 model there is black sticky material forms in the carburetor. Even after cleaning it comes back within 3 to 4 days. do you know what might be the reason?
OLD FUEL ...BASICALLY FUEL BY PRODUCT IS VARNISH. SO IT IS A STICKY SUBSTANCE. MAKE SURE YOU USE NEW FUEL ALWAYS AND DON'T KEEP FUEL IN THE TANK FOR LONG TIME. ALSO MAKE SURE CARB PACKING IS NOT LEAKY...THANKS

yes, it is chromed. you can do except main engine case. Gear box cover, clutch cover, timing cover you can chrome. Main engine case chrome will five you heating issue, aluminum only exchage the heat well n good
just open the aux screw slowly the RPM will increase at one point the RPM will reduce. The maximum RPM is correct set. simply said remember a mountain....slop mountain peak again slop

Sir, I have Suzuki Heat 125 Four Stroke, 2006. It houses a Mikuni VM 18 carburettor. Will the setting go same for my bike so far as AFR screw is concerned i.e, 1.5-2 turns? I am eagerly waiting for your response. Thank you! By the way I have set it at two turns and motorcycle even starts without choke and good crisp acceleration. The spark plug colour is like chocolate brown. At electrode it is brown and the thread circumference is black in colour. Please clarify.
It's very low dear. My same model bike get 44-45 km/ltr. You should maintain that bike well to get more mileage. Better engine oil-gear oil- clutch oil, clean air filter, lubricated chain, properly inflated tyres... Then the last one 'tune the carburator'..

warm the bike followed by open the carb slide for 1/4 portion by adjusting the idle screw. Now adjust the air screw for max rpm. Finally set idle screw for your desired RpM. tuning is done now.

It's ok if you don't have aux. Don't expect great performance from 1966 model. Just ride the bike and enjoy ... according to age performance is good. Thanks.
Sir, I have Bullet 350 2006 model. I was doing carborator tuning as did you. But was not going like you, rpm getting high and stoping during rpm goes down. What i did as below. 1. Increase rpm without meter 2. Closed auxiliary bolt (tight clock wise mean left to right) 3. Closed air mixture bolt as clockwise. 4. Open air mixture bolt 1.5 to 2 times, rotate right to left side. 5. After that open auxiliary bolt around 3 times. But rpm not getting down slow as CI bullets have and either no water coming from silencer 🤔😥. Please advise🤗 2
Sir I am getting maximum rpm in 4half turn but pick up is average if I come 2.3 half turn pick up is good mileage will get less so which is the correct position sir
I have the same engine and my mechanic has kept the aux screw to fully closed position.... He always adjusts the air/fuel screw and the idle screw.... I have always had starting problem in cold weather... Summer is still Ok... Please help
Hi sir, I own 2009 electra 5 speed. While tuning using Aux air screw, rmp drops very slowly but idle rmp is stable. When aux air screw is fuly closed and carb is tuned, engine rmp drops immediately when accelerator is released. Any inputs.
Hi Sir i liked your video but my ci engine bullet has micarb carburator and as per video i have open fuel to 1.5 round and slow down the rpm. Then i have slowly open the auxiliary screw but it doesn't affect the rpm. Please suggest something to set accurate petrol mixture
@@ridewithabhi9800 it's called misfire blow back. It happens sometimes. When you are starting the bike don't use throttle to start. Also 1.5-2 turns for VM so don't settle on 1.5 only. You have to check the exact point after taking few tests...this is more of a tunning related and practice related thing. Thanks

I have 1997 model standard. Recently my bullet is not exceeding 80km/h If i try and accelerate the firing starts missing and goes irratic. I need to keep it under 80km /h. In lower gears also when i try to rev at high RPM same issue is there .. otherwise starting No issues Firing is smooth.

change in RPM due to AUX is defer. it is bike to bike. not all will have same setting. so I dont think it is wrong in your bike.

Check the carb and clean it thoroughly. And AFR setting for any two stroke is 1.5 to 2 turns.
Sir my bullet does not goes beyond 40kmph is that due to carborator

clutch center nut loose or clutch setting is not good or clutch plates and frictions plates are gone. thanks

The rpm is not constant , in my 83 model 350 its slightly raised after 8,10 km ride
There is a miss fire in air filter side old bullet . Some times it's miss fire while starting the bike. Can u help ?

Sir, I have Suzuki Heat 125 Four Stroke, 2006. It houses a Mikuni VM 18 carburettor. Will the setting go same for my bike so far as AFR screw is concerned i.e, 1.5-2 turns? I am eagerly waiting for your response. Thank you! By the way I have set it at two turns and motorcycle even starts without choke and good crisp acceleration. The spark plug colour is like chocolate brown. At electrode it is brown and the thread circumference is black in colour. Please clarify.
bike starting without choke means mixture is wrong...its rich,. make it lean.
mine is 2008 model, which carburettor it has, and mine is giving 20-22 kmpl is it ok or any measure to improve this?
It's very low dear. My same model bike get 44-45 km/ltr.
You should maintain that bike well to get more mileage.
Better engine oil-gear oil- clutch oil, clean air filter, lubricated chain, properly inflated tyres... Then the last one 'tune the carburator'..

Boss in my ci 350 bullet .mechanic has tunned the mixture and speed knob.he completely tighten the outer air supply .

Hi can I tune my carb without touching auxiliary air screw (tuning with pilot and idling screw?)
warm the bike followed by open the carb slide for 1/4 portion by adjusting the idle screw. Now adjust the air screw for max rpm. Finally set idle screw for your desired RpM. tuning is done now.
Why is the auxiliary air vent used ? Why can't the same air pass through carburetor?
it gives better performance in terms for mileage

Hello Sir , I have a 1966 g2 engine enfield 350cc. The carburetor in my bike doesn't have auxiliary . will the settings remains the same as you have explained in this video? One more query I have what is the milage that we can take out of the bike on decent riding? Please do reply when ever you have spare time to reply.
It's ok if you don't have aux. Don't expect great performance from 1966 model. Just ride the bike and enjoy ... according to age performance is good. Thanks.

Sir, I have Bullet 350 2006 model. I was doing carborator tuning as did you.
But was not going like you, rpm getting high and stoping during rpm goes down.
What i did as below.
1. Increase rpm without meter
2. Closed auxiliary bolt (tight clock wise mean left to right)
3. Closed air mixture bolt as clockwise.
4. Open air mixture bolt 1.5 to 2 times, rotate right to left side.
5. After that open auxiliary bolt around 3 times.
But rpm not getting down slow as CI bullets have and either no water coming from silencer 🤔😥.
Please advise🤗

Looking at your video....it appears like the choke was ON.....but tuning is always done with choke in off condition.
Sir I am getting maximum rpm in 4half turn but pick up is average if I come 2.3 half turn pick up is good mileage will get less so which is the correct position sir

I have the same engine and my mechanic has kept the aux screw to fully closed position.... He always adjusts the air/fuel screw and the idle screw.... I have always had starting problem in cold weather... Summer is still Ok... Please help

Hi sir, I own 2009 electra 5 speed. While tuning using Aux air screw, rmp drops very slowly but idle rmp is stable. When aux air screw is fuly closed and carb is tuned, engine rmp drops immediately when accelerator is released. Any inputs.

Hi Sir i liked your video but my ci engine bullet has micarb carburator and as per video i have open fuel to 1.5 round and slow down the rpm. Then i have slowly open the auxiliary screw but it doesn't affect the rpm. Please suggest something to set accurate petrol mixture
Make sure aux vent is clean

@@MechAutoClinic only when I kick or at the self start, smoke comes from below that chrome box. While in running the bullet smoke disappears
@@ridewithabhi9800 it's called misfire blow back. It happens sometimes. When you are starting the bike don't use throttle to start. Also 1.5-2 turns for VM so don't settle on 1.5 only. You have to check the exact point after taking few tests...this is more of a tunning related and practice related thing. Thanks

Just fix the airscrew in 1.75 position.

I have 1997 model standard. Recently my bullet is not exceeding 80km/h
If i try and accelerate the firing starts missing and goes irratic. I need to keep it under 80km /h.
In lower gears also when i try to rev at high RPM same issue is there ..
otherwise starting No issues
Firing is smooth.
You, should check the ignition advancing system inside the CB point.
