I don’t mind that grip when you don’t hold it so far back on that lace, if you held it higher up the air would be catching 4 laces instead of 2

@@teamfuel88 curveballs are a great pitch but if you are young don’t throw it because it will mess up your arm. Pitches that are not bad for your arm Include 2-seamers, 4-seamers, Change-up, Circle Change and I think a slider
@@BAL_productions yes I know this but I can throw any pitch and I don’t mess up my arm, I’ve practiced many pitches many times and I never get arm pain, I’ll only get arm pain if I throw to hard but that’s just me

Bro I have tried this grip and this is the best grip I have ever used. If you throw it a certain way it will go inside and surprise the crap out of the catcher and the batter
Guys this is one of the curveball grips this is the two seam grip curve the original is better go on the horseshoe lace put your first two finger on the side then your thumb on the bottom and flick down
Being completely honest I love this and I use it all the time on a 2-0 count

Hell it’s probably nasty on 2-0 as well. Most guys would be like I’m getting a fastball. And a high starting curve will look like a high fastball at first.

When I throw it I like to think of setting a cup on a table when I flick my wrist if that’s helps anyone

This looks like surefire Tommy Johns. Make a triangle out of your ring, middle finger, and thumb. Them throw it like a vertical karate chop. No need for a flick or any wrist or elbow torque if you're doing it right. That flick or excess elbow movement to get extra movement from your curve is how you end up blowing out your arm and being surgery.
I will definitely have to try this at my game tomorrow!

Just so you know this will work but flicking the ball will just cause more i juries and it will cause your curveball to have a lob movement. Have a form wrist through the whole throw and it will be faster and harder to hit

I would throw that at like 50 mph it's very offset but that's the beauty of pitching everybody has their own technique. Threw mine kind of opposite of this with my middle finger along the inside of the upside down horseshoe

Grip cool and everything but pressuring out your fingers and and knowing what will move best for you it’s just over all better and it might work for some people but not most just want to keep that in mind

Use a video mirror tool they have them on chrome extensions that's what I use

What age do you think is old enough to start using curveballs? I’m 10 so I know I’m too young I just want to know from your perspective
If you are throwing it properly you should have no arm issues. Think fastball the whole time you are throwing it and then before release just pull your middle finger over the top of the ball.. practice spinning the ball with the grip like a few inches in the air too .. helps you get a feel for the grip
DO NOT START THROWING IT UNTIL YOURE 14. Your arm isn’t developed enough and the risk of injury is bigger. Please wait till your 14

Yeah it’s because the grip makes it to where you have no control over the ball, you need more of you hand on it
