Rifle covers when not shooting. In the UK we call them rifle slips. 2 main companies (HPS-TR & 10.9 Tailoring). These can be made as John says. Relatively cheap and can be made to suit your needs (length, height, elastic or draw string) Many sling shooters will also use a clip underneath to prevent rain or dust from being blow in from underneath. Find a local seamstress with the dimensions you are looking for and you should get what you want.
Its amazing how shooters are obsessed with other shooters loading habits. Knowing how to Aim is often left out of the equation. Have you ever lent a gun, and the person using it gets a better score?
@@anthonykhalil70Fudds like you have no idea what you are talking about. Aiming and stability is a non issue in F class. The most important thing is the rifle, the loads, and then wind reading ability.
The point being that you can have the best rifle, ammo load and wind reading ability but if you can't point it in the right place then no matter what, the bullet won't go where you want it to go
@@Palma_Rebel Again, fudds should stay out of this if you have no idea what you are talking about, aiming is a non issue in f class. There is no problem putting a reticle where you intend to put it.
Hi John, love the videos. This isn’t related to reloading but I was wondering what vise you use to hold your rifle steady when mounting scopes and such. Thank you, Owen.

Doesnt matter how good you can aim. If the gun puts the rounds in different places everytime you will never be successful with it
Apparently, the gun is the issue. But often it isn't.

I use the Short Action Customs vise and the Howard’s Total Vise depending on what I’m doing.

Gotta ask.. legitimate link to order that lapua hat? Love the content as always.
I get a lot of questions about the hat. Sadly I've only seen them for sale at matches. I think I paid $15 at SWN for this one.
