I'm pretty sure that Alastor doesn't care for being a father figure to Charlie and was just trying to piss off Lucifer since Lucifer didn't know who he was, insulted him, and basically tried to ignore him, until Alastor said he would be happy to fufill any bizarre request of hers, which was when Alastor started to lay it on thick with the compliments after he saw Lucifer react negatively.
Alastor's eyes were twitching the moment Luci entered the hotel, even before Luci ignored him.
@@gvenlife7266Because Alastor hates not being top dog. Remember when Carmilla dismissed him at the meeting in 'Scrambled Eggs'? Alastor's eye twitched because he wasn't seen as important. With Lucifer in the picture, everything Charlie asks Alastor to do could be done more easily and better by Lucifer. That's why Alastor swore at Lucifer and played up his relationship with Charlie. Because that's the only thing he can do to the King of Hell. Lucifer's presence is a reminder of how low on Hell's Totem Pole Alastor truly is.

@gvenlife7266 That's probably because he didn't even acknowledge he was there, at the door, right next to Charlie. Like Carmilla, he completely ignored him. He twitched his eyes and got pissed when Carmilla didn't care where he was, and he twitched his eyes and got pissed when the king of hell had no idea and didn't care who he was.
Another thing is that when it showed Lilith singing, it had red sheet music, and when Mimsie explained the backstory of Alastor, red sheet music came out of the radio. Makes sense that the revolutionary singer would work with a radio demon. In times of war, important information was shared through secret radio waves. So maybe Lilith used Alastor to make more people in hell hear her songs

But am I the only one who is still suspicious about Lilith and Eve? Because in the flashback, they didn't show Liliths face, even trough you could see it on the pictures in Luci's room. And also her hair is more similar to the hair of Eve in the storybook, than Lilith's on the pictures. Than there is Liliths trading card, were she has this sinister smile, which ALSO has Eve in the storybook. Also it seems like Lilith was the cause for Luci and Charlie to lost contact and why did she and Luci broke up, they seemed to love each other so much. Maybe this and Alastor is all connected.

My theory is that Alastor is playing dad to Charlie because he knows that if Lucifer enters the picture properly he becomes replaceable/puts him at risk of not being able to make a deal with Charlie to get enough power to achieve whatever his ultimate goal is
Maybe he wants Charlie's soul so that he can get back his own soul from Lilith. He may think that he can trade his soul for Charlie's freedom

It wouldn't surprise me if Alastor did have to resort to selling his soul to Lilith. He's at the hotel to keep an eye on Charlie at Lilith's request, but has personal motivation to gain Charlie's trust enough for her to make a deal with him. It wouldn't be out of left field to then have him make a deal with Lilith for Charlie's soul in exchange for his.
I think he sold his soul in life. And regret because all his choices are decided by lilith.

In "stayed gone" the news lines at the bottom of the screen says Vox "wrecked" alastor and val said alastor ALMOST beat vox,what if alastor made a deal with lilith to heal him

Doubt it, Alastor is a sinner, right? If so, they heal on their own with time. Moreover, if that deal was the case, I don't think it wouldve taken 7 years. I'd assume the 7 years is more likely how long it took him to naturally regenerate.
TBH, the attitude of Vox is less of a glorious victor than someone who escaped alive by the skin of his teeth... I think that when Val said "He almost beat you" it was closer to "He almost destroyed you"
Although, it could be said that maybe he was using the 7 years or some of those years after making a deal with Lilith to regain some power? I'm not sure but I think its more likely he didn't specifically make a deal with Lilith to heal him. Maybe for power? possibly, but only time will tell :o

@@ge_ka_bu I think it has something to do with the extermination, something Lilith was against and something Lucifer didn’t fight back (due to his depression) until he was convinced by Charlie.
Theory: Lilith was imprisoned and/or killed seven years ago this caused Alastors power to suddenly drop since the strength Lilith granted him was suddenly missing. This is why he "lost" his battle with Vox and disappeared. Seven years later , with him having regained some power, he returns to make Charlie his next Lilith by winning her trust in hope of her empowering him as Lilith once did. It could also be the case that with Liliths theoretical demise his contract is now owned by Charlie and Alastors goal is to somehow get out of the deal.

I feel that since Charlie & Emily are obvious parallels of one another, that maybe we can see the same in both Lilith & Sera. Sera's motive has always been to protect Emily, so whatever Lilith is up to is probably all for Charlie, no matter how twisted her methods could be (like Sera agreeing to the extermination).
Also I really hope they keep Alastor as aroace and that his connection with Lilith is nothing more than slave/soul owner. I'd like to think that the love Lucifer & Lilith had was real but they ended up separating due to different ideals (Lucifer's submission to heaven's punishment clashing with Lilith's resistance against heaven).
I think that Sera's excuses that there was nothing else she could have done was meant to juxtapose against Lucifer and his depression more so than Lillith.
Personally I think Sera is meant to be a parallel to Lucifer (as both are scared of changing the extermination out of fear of losing their loved ones) while Lillith is meant to be instead foil to Adam himself.
If you look pass the jerkassery, Adam surprisingly doent seems to resent Lillith all that much (considering she doomed his second wife, himself anf his decendants and he saw it all)
He is very chill with Charlie at the start and is Lute that is angry at Lillith for her affair with Lucifer, while Adam calls it "very hot tho". Meawhile of Lillith, we havr the story that paints Adam in a very mysoginistic light (which is weird considering that, crudness and frat boy vocabulary aside, his entire army is composted solely of women, respects Sera's authority no questions asked and also has a very high opinion of Lute in general and of Vaggie as a warrior, calling her "one of my top girls" even after everything that happened) and the posibility she sent alastor to alienate Lucifer from Charlie for no apparent reason
What if Lillith is the resentful one and is doing all of this to spite Adam and Heaven for casting her out (as well as being a very resentful person in general)?

Lilith possible being the ultimate villain in the show could be a big game changer with that use alastor as a sorta eyes on Charlie figure to make sure that she won't interfere with lilith's plans
why no one does mention about the fact that in pilot episode of hazbin hotel, Charlie called her mom and the next scene- ALASTOR APPEARED OUT OF THIN AIR. Vivzi certainly hinted it 5 years ago.

Because the pilot isn't canon. This isn't rocket science, dude.
It would make sense that Lilith is pulling Alastor's strings, but I think she's trying to repair her family, not sabotage the hotel. After the dad song, Alastor was trying to make Lucifer jealous, but didn't accompany them at the Balcony despite trying to stay close (it maybe because he was disciplining husk, but that didn't take long and he still could've gone to the balcony after). And when Lucifer and Charlie were singing and reconnecting; Alastor was displaying a more humble and proud smile (and said nothing the rest of the episode). It seems Alastor was trying to motivate Lucifer to try harder with Charlie, and left them alone so they can actually talk alone; which led to their argument and then reconciliation. This is surprising for someone like Alastor, but it could just be an order from Lilith; she'll probably appear to mend her relationship with Charlie and maybe Lucifer, but it is concerning what Alastor would get out of this.
Just my perceptions. The story Charlie was reading said Lilith helped demons thrive through her song. Meanwhile it seems Lucifer has accepted the perceived impossibility of his circumstances. It seems Charlie wants both of her parents but they essentially are both absent. They likely broke up due to their different views. Charlies reality warping powers are likely the key to changing the fate of the sinners but Lucifer doesn't provide the influence Lilith wants to have her awaken said powers. Charlie's powers seem to activate with anger so Charlie realizing the unfairness and hypocrisy of the angels could with a proper trigger give us the scene we are all waiting for. It just depends on how her power is directed.
The fact that Lilith’s trading card looks so similar to Eve smiling when offered the apple makes me think that Eve is involved in this whole plot and may even be Roo, the Root of all Evil.🤔 Regardless, maybe Lilith wants the hotel to succeed to stir up the seeds of doubt in Heaven/help to totally dismantle its structure.🤔
With eyes being everywhere in Heaven and Hell, it’d be interesting if there’s a Palpatine situation going on here with both sides being manipulated by the same force.🤔
And while we have our grand, Palpatine-scale antagonist(s) plotting to conquer (or continue ruling) everyone and everything, I’m also curious about the smaller-scale opportunists (on both the Heaven and Hell ends of the faction spectrum) who want to exploit the upcoming cosmic chaos to depose their respective senior colleagues/rivals (eg the Vees want to replace Carmilla’s old school Overlord alliance as Hell’s top dog criminal syndicate, while Adam may seek to overthrow Sera to ensure his “complete purge of Hell” agenda is carried out.)

I think Lilith has a grudge against Heaven and inspired Charlie to start the hotel because she knew eventually her daughter would go against them. Although… I don’t think she will settle with proving them wrong.😥
One thing I did notice in episode 5 a lot of people didn't seem to notice is that Lucifer still wears his wedding ring, so it makes me think that they didn't "split" in the sense of a divorce but split in the sense when she split off and disappeared.
Applying from what we know with alastor and his mysterious past and the same with Lilith I can understand now why Alastor was asking charlie if they had a deal. Seeing how alastor rose to power overnight but it also goes beyond that
I can't imagine Lilith being evil while Charlie is practically a saint who loves her mother. She raised Charlie to be kind.
Another note, this is under the assumption the deal happened 7 years ago. What if the deal happened almost immediately after Alastor arrived in hell, thus explaining where he got his incredible powers from and why he killed almost all the overlords. He is the Radio Demon. Radio being a way to broadcast anything to anyone in hell, including Lilith's singing/concerts.
Look at the current overlords, can you say they are Evil with a capital E? Besides the V's who only really started gaining power after Alastor's already toppled the overlords, the rest of the overlords seem... relatively reasonable by Hell's standards.
Lilith made a deal with Alastor to topple the actual EVIL overlords of hell and replaced them with relatively good/understanding overlords, now she's helping Charlie with the Hotel.
My Wish list for Lilith:
1). Even if she is a villain, she is the hero of her own story. I want to see some serious “I am Hells queen and I will NOT STAND FOR THIS” energy.
2). I want to see her and Lucifer get back together, if only briefly.
I’m not fully sure how or why, but I get the instinctive feeling that Lilith tragically chose to separate from Lucifer as some sort of tragic “cruel to be kind” gesture, having known that whatever path she chose to take to save Hell (or the universe as a whole), would get both Lucifer and Charlie killed as collateral damage if they walked that ‘path’ alongside her. (Hence Lilith’s need for separation/extended absence)

My theory is Alastor lost to Vox (barely) 7 years ago and Lilith saved him for whatever reason. Though her power is singing and Alastor of course is Radio, and can broadcast her singing more than just a concert.
Part of the agreement is likely to give Lucifer crap when Alastor can.
I love all your theories. They’re really interesting and pretty accurate. Lucifer is by far my favorite character in the show. At least tied with Alastor. He is hilarious and surprisingly comically small. Can’t wait for more episodes to explore more of this series lore and story it’s trying to tell.
Personally, I’m very worried about Lucifer’s survival chances (long term) in this franchise. With all this talk from various characters about status quo being challenged, even Lucifer’s top position on the Hell totem pole may not last forever in the context of Hazbin Hotel’s overall plot.
The writing team has done such a good job making us care about and love Lucifer, that it’ll be so much more heartbreaking when Lucifer probably(?) gets offed (or put out of commission through other means) by “so-and-so aspiring usurper of Hell” character.
One thing I still can't get behind is original source of Alastor's power. He is using voodoo magic, which implies that he has some sort of pact with Lwa (voodoo spirits) of Petwo family (they are considered to be the "bad" ones of Lwa families), with whom he could make contact while still being alive, leading to him having a lot of power when he just got in Hell. If you need proof, there are always veve's (sigils, each one representing it's own Lwa spirit) around him when he uses a lot of magic. These sigils are very simplified in this season (either because it's just easier to draw or because of that Twitter drama 3 or so weeks ago), but still recognizable. You can see those better in the pilot, when he speakes with Charlie at 24:11. Lwa are pretty interesting because everything of Alastor's character points out on them existing in the Hellaverse, but noone ever mentioned them, and we don't even know their power level, could be weaker than Goetia or Sins, could be on the same level but limited by Alastor being just a sinner.
So maybe Lilith recognised their power and that's why she made a deal with Alastor.
Another thing is that it seems like this deal was not made volunteerly from Alastor's side, and that's why he is so pissed when Husk bring that up. I don't know.
Another hot take, maybe Alastor was messing with Lucifer about this whole "dad" thing not only to strengthen his bond with Charlie, but to guilt trip Lucifer into allowing contact with Heaven for Charlie. My proof here is that whenever we see him in the episode, he looks extra pissed at Lucifer, but as soon as him and Charlie start singing and reconnect, he becomes his chill himself as usual. If this is true, then he is more of a master-manipulator than i thought. But, then again, that's just a suggestion.
Man, I like Alastor so much. We know about him so much, but he just becomes more mysterious with each theory.

Where is everyone getting the idea that he uses VooDoo? None of the powers he uses seem to suggest that and the sigils are common place for most magic users of substantial rank (namely the Sins as we see in HelluvaBoss)
@@alexzander7629 as i said, you can see veve's exactly, not just sigils, in the pilot at 24:11 and also 29:31 when Alastor wrecks Pentious ship. For example, the one that looks like cross is the veve of Papa Legba, lwa responsible for the connection between mortals and lwa; cross in the circle is a veve of Met Calfu, he is the one who gives magic to mortals from other Lwa's; the one you can see when Alastor summons Husk behind Husk's head is veve of Ayizan, she controls market and deals. I could continue, but I think that this is enough. Pilot is still canon to the show, so Alastor is still using voodoo
2 big problems with the idea Alistair was sent to sabotage the hotel.
1; the hotel was already failing. The only reason Angel is close to redemption is because Alistair brought in husk, to connect with.
2; the now biannual extermination wasn't because of the hotel. When Charlie brought it up to Adam he just laughed it off. He already made up his mind on the extermination and it was because an exorcist was actually killed in the latest extermination.
If Lilith wanted the hotel to fail to save Charlie, all she had to do was nothing. Right now it seems Lilith wants the hotel to succeed to draw the ire of heaven.

Considering charlie said her mother ALSO believed that all sinners can be saved, I believe after she and Lucifier Split.
She ended up bumping into the radio demon, and ended up getting his soul as a result.
Maybe.. She wasn't happy that Lucifier wasn't trying to take more action against heaven, hence the breakup.
The real reason he came to the hotel was because, Lilith ordered him to help her daughter. I mean genuinely help, not hurt.
I personally believe that a villain called Roo(root of all evil) or (more likely) eve are somehow responsible for Lilith being missing for that 7 year gap, albeit hiding or through something else. Now my belief about Alastor is that when they state no mortal soul like his have ever wielded such power, I think that he had borrowed some power from Lilith through a deal they struck. Cause as mimzy stated he didn't take down no simple overlords, he was taking out real heavy hitters, people who were in power for centuries. While some could argue its do to him learning voodoo or he just made alot of deals, those are some of the only possibilities I could see with that. Edit: Forgot to say that eve is probably disguised as Lilith since on the trading care and from the story, we see they have a similar kind of smile. Thank yall for the 42 likes!
If Hazbin Hotel continues maintaining its popularity for the (hopeful) many years to come, I could easily imagine Alastor getting his own prequel spinoff series, in which his younger (not recorded by known history) self is shown gradually adapting to surviving in Hell, and then after having his buttons pushed too many times (eg betrayed by so and so past side character), Alastor finally snaps and becomes the Overlord-killing Radio Demon of infamy.

@@PolyVein probably since as we see with characters like mammon or Valentino, their greed causes them to be pretty much scumbags. So I could see greed being involved
Problem being Lillith kind of is the Root of all Evil from analyzing what we've seen so far, as she chose the easy path of eloping with an angel and claiming the whole problem was her other half, rather than trying to work out her differences with Adam, accept any fault in herself, and the two of them becoming both better individuals from learning and growing.
Also I just realized that at the end of his and Vox’s song “Stayed Gone”, he says “When I'm done your status quo will know its race is run” Implying that he can’t fight back right now and has to finish something first. This could mean getting his soul or “Full power” back from his demon master by fixing up the hotel. He has no other reason to gain his power back from working with Charlie other than a deal made with him. It also makes sense because how would he become more powerful by working at Hazbin? Rather it’s gain someones soul or getting his back, he only there for himself
Maybe Velvette, Vox and Alastor power is equal to their popularity and if someone will be redeemed it would be a sensation and Alastor will become the strongest overlord
Personally, I think Alastor sold his soul either shortly after arriving in Hell or even while he was still alive, and that it was this bargain that gave him the unprecedented level of power he held when he first manifested. Furthermore I think it might have been under the conditions of his contract that Alastor eliminated so many overlords when he made his debut, acting as his patrons hit man while disguised as a wild card
I have similar thoughts, yes. Mimzy said that at first, no one took Alastor seriously. Based on what we already know about him, he was REALLY pissed because of that. And if we consider the identities of the current overlords, there is an angelic weapon supplier among them. And angelic weapons can harm angels too, as we saw. Which is VERY interesting to think about.
Can't wait to find out more about Lilith. My personal Headcanon is that after they fell Lucifer and Lilith tried to turn Hell into their own vision of Paradise. However eons of seeing the worst of Humanity broke Lucifer and know he only wants them to suffer for ruining his dream. However Lilith never gave up, she might've even been a big advocate for taking the fight to Heaven, a major bone of contention between the 2 leading to their marriage's breakdown.
Something else I'd like to know is where Eve is now.

I actually think this makes sense, but I'm open to the idea that Lilith and Alastor's deal goes even from the time that Alastor got to Hell. Mimzy, for her short amount of screen time, did revealed that Alastor liked to frequent places where there was music. Who's to say he saw Lilith during a concert, managed to get to the backstage and offered his soul to her for the power needed to defeat other overlords. We don't really know where Alastor got the power to topple big shots pretty much from day 1. Receiving power from the queen of hell itself would actually make a lot of sense as to why Alastor's so powerful. Since his disappearance was on the same time frame of Lilith's maybe she ordered him to follow her and Alastor developed an admiration towards her that borders on some kind of twisted love. Whether Alastor wants to help or not I wouldn't be surprised he genuinely wants to replace Lucifer as Charlie's father figure. Since Luci and Charlie are so estranged
My theory is that Alastor disapears before he can finish his battle with Vox, Val claims that he "almost" beat Vox, infering that he actually didn't stay for the whole thing. Or Lilith could have summoned him in the middle of the battle similarly to how Al summoned Husk in the middle of the game. That's why Al was not able to finish Vox. Lilith went somewhere and needed Alastor by her side to help. As soon as the preparations for who-knows-what mere made she allowed Alastor to return to his usual routine but with one additional task - to look after the Hotel.

The way to actually go to heaven rather than having a good heart that I believe is somewhat important. Is Actually to be obedient or not being a disruption because Heaven it's supposed to be this Utopia so they wouldn't let some people like Angel Dust or Cherri that despite they seem like Good People they are in hell because of being disobedient.

I'd love to hear the facts if im missing something. But is it possible at all that since both of them were gone for 7years. And Alastor being.. well, Alastor. He got bored of killing overlords and wanted to take on someone more powerful? Perhaps he started a fight with Lilith and was actually keeping up for 7 whole years until he ultimately lost and was forcefully enslaved just like Husk and others for example? Further KINDA supported by him not really being scared of Lucifer? Not to the point of starting a fight since he knows he would probably lose but at least wanting him to know he can actually put up a fight even against someone like him? Also would explain why he got so annoyed by Husk just dismissing the whole story as him just ending up on a leash in the end. Also i find the VOX situtation even weirder, VOX is clearly terrified by Alastor being back. While Alastors "Stayed gone" part made the power dynamic between them pretty clear. On top of that we know he ALMOST beat him, while VOX calls him coward. I assume he just left.. mid fight? Perhaps that ties back to him being bored of just fighting overlords all the time and winning? And this part is pushing it a bit but ehh, that's why we're here anyway so whatever.. The connection is there, along with Alastor’s arrival at the hotel and helping Charlie. He claims to be doing it for his own entertainment, but it’s possible he’s really doing it because Lilith asked him too
It’s also entirely possible that the two of them, or at least Lilith, are planning something big with regards to Heaven and/or the Exterminations

Did anyone find it strange that right before Al attacked the loan sharks he decided to say “It’s time to remind EVERYONE why I’m HERE”? It almost feels like his role as the defender might lay in thicker than just him defending against hell. What if he’s there for a specific purpose such as a specific Angel or greater force that may be the reason for why he and Lilith went missing. What if in exchange for massive power Al had to follow a specific condition and only showed up when the pieces were finally set to meet these conditions?
I don´t think that every contract in hell requires a sinner to sell your soul to another...And that there should have been other deals that worked as a more classical "I help you with something or give you something in exchange for something else" but that is magically binding... I don´t know if someone as proud as Alastor would sell his soul to anyone, but he could definitively be fulfilling the terms of his own contract with Lilith by keeping an eye on Charlie.
Exactly. I think everyone is forgetting that Husk lost his status as an overlord after selling his soul to Alastor. How would Alastor still be an overlord if someone else owned his soul? I don't think Lilith, the queen of Hell would need to own his soul to get him to do what she wants. It's probably just a regular deal, like your example, enforced by Liliths position of power alone. He wouldn't dare disobey, who knows what she's capable of?

I think it's more along the lines of Lilith sending Alastor to keep watch over Charlie in her place. Charlie hadn't seen or spoken with Lilith in 7 years and Charlie still keeps a happy image in her head even though she doesn't actually know what her mother's doing. This says that no one has seen Lilith for hose 7 years as well. I think Lilith went somewhere to stop the exterminations. I don't know for sure if she found a way to infiltrate heaven or not, but I can't think of anything she'd see as more important to her than her own daughter.
I think it was before then that Alastor signed a contract with her for power and that's how he became the infamous Radio Demon and where he got the mysterious power he has. But, while confronting Vox, Lilith contacts him and gives him the order to watch over Charlie before he had defeat Vox. Alastor has no choice but to agree and watches over Charlie, at first, from a distance. But, when he learns Charlie is opening a hotel to rehabilitate demons, he fears she might attract danger to her with that idea and is forced to go work for the hotel to ensure her safety from her own patrons and any demons that go attacking the hotel like the loan sharks in e5. I think the whole thing is to protect Charlie on Lilith's behalf.

I share your theory of Alastor being sent by Lilith to interfere, only not with the reason. I think Lilith wanted Alastor to make Lucifer jealous in order to kick him out of his depressive, inactive state. And it worked, he and Charlie bonded and he promised to support her in any way he could. That doesn't mean Alastor is not also having his own agenda on the side.
It only makes sense that the radio demon would sell he’s soul to the most powerful singing voice in hell. After all I’m sure radio demon gets some sort of kickback for broadcasting her singing.
Since the newest episode came out. Listening to Vaggie sing with Charlie during the Happy Day In Hell song. She literally talks about how angels minds are hard to change and that they are bloodthirsty and deranged. She basically foreshadowed in the first episode that Vaggie knew the angels personally and that she was an angel.

Personally I’m of the opinion that Lilith will be an arch villain of sorts as the true embodiment of the sin of pride as for one Lucifer seems to be completely isolated from the power structure of hell due to his depression and not wanting anything to due with his mistake leaving Lilith the only viable leader of hell and then there’s the fact that as we see in hellva boss demons go up to earth to spread evil which is something Lucifer would hate but Lilith would benefit from as it would increase hells numbers allowing her to possibly create an army with which is what the exterminations are there to counter and she’s the cause of she clearly represents the sin of pride more than Lucifer as she’s spent her whole life meddling with peoples lives for her own short sighted and selfish goals and not caring when it hurts those around and close to her going as far as to possibly trying to use and sabotage her own daughter to provoke a war that in the long run she has no chance of winning and as a possible pattern when her plans inevitably blow up in her face she ends up cozying up with or manipulating a powerful being who at best (example Lucifer) will have very mixed feelings about her or at worst (Alastor) will relentlessly seek revenge on her if he gets of the leash.

I think that Lilith has control over Alastor could be true because when Husk warned Alastor about Mimzy's sudden appearance, Alastor wasn't bothered by it at first and told him he can handle anything but after dealing to the mess that Mimzy brought. Alastor confronted Mimzy that she shouldn't bring anymore trouble to the hotel which is weird? Like in a way he want to make sure nothing bad will happened to the hotel or to people who was in it. Was he always like that? Why did he only said that to Mimzy but not on the snake dude? (That part was really weird) And Alastor knew from the start that Charlie has a daddy issue (He mentioned it on the first advertisement he created, but on episode 5 husk asked if Charlie has a daddy issue because of how she was acting by the idea of asking her dad for help. It shows that Alastor knew more about Charlie) And maybe that's the reason why Alastor trying too hard to get on Luci's nerve when they just met. (But it could be that he was just disappointed that the King of hell, Lucifer, was short 😂 another level of Alastor being petty)
Alastor is shown to be extremely prideful and hates not being the most powerful demon and being reminded of that. His eye twitched when Camiella dismissed him, and when the literal king of hell-- who's power far exceeds him and could crush him like an ant-- walks in, his eye also twitched. Not to mention Lucifer also dismissed him and offered to fix up Charlie's hotel with his near infinite power, which is what Alastor's purpose is. This made him want to grasp onto anything he can to get under Lucifer's skin, which his strained relationship with his daughter being his most obvious weak point, so Alastor expoilted that to try and get under his skin and threaten him a different way, since if it weren't for Charlie there who would not approve and Lucifer being a generally chill dude about his power, he could thanos snap Alastor to nothingness lol
This ties in with the idea I had that Alistor was actually interested in the hotel as a possible way to access heaven and expand his domain. It makes more sense for Lilith to want this, as Alistor hasn't even managed to rule over the whole pride ring yet.
I feel like Alastor acting that way was because Lilith knew that was the only way to push Luci to start help their daughter. And the leash he is angered by is him being held back by lilith from just killing the angles.

Honestly from the flashback to Charlie as a kid, I really got the vibe that Lilith purposefully kept her from Luci - Charlie only says she didn't see him much, Lilith doesn't even make eye contact with him when she takes Charlie (who looks sad to be taken from her dad), and Luci reaches out implying that he does want to spend more time with Charlie. I dont think they were always unhappy, but it kinda gives me the vibe that Lucifer may have been a means to an end to Lilith more than anything (Kind of like Solas and the Goetia house do the marriages to ensure offspring). As far as recruiting Alastor, I think Lilith likely helped Alastor at some point (thus his convo with Husk) and in return he was asked to watch over Charlie. However since they both dissapeared for 7 years I could see them bonding and either becoming close friends or Alastor looking up to her as one of the few demons stronger than him, thus why he would be so outwardly rude to Lucifer despite seemingly never having met him. I do like the theory that Eve is going to have something to do with this, but if I'm entirely honest I don't think her and Lilith will be revealed to be the same - what i do think is she's likely hidden away or has amnesia, but it would neat to find out she's the only one who knows how you actually get into heaven (I just honestly can't see Adam ina happy relationship, but what I can see is him seeing Eve as a threat to his power if she is overall more intelligent/helpful than him, and disposing of her in some way. Ultimately, super excited to see what the big reveals will be 🖤 The pacing has been rough, but the overall story and most characters are still really compelling!

Well.... If Lilth is a Singer.... Then it makes sense that she'd partner up with Alastor since music and radio do go hand in hand. Maybe she intends to use his radio and her songs for some purpose.
If I had to guess how Alastor and Lilith were related, my guess would be that Alastor previously had an arrangement for Lilith to broadcast her singing through his radio network, and may even have attempted to get her soul in the process. But then Vox came along with his videos, and suddenly Lilith didn't have to limit herself to just one medium, which might also explain why Alastor has such an intense hatred for "radio with pictures". it didn't just obsolete his preferred medium. It prevented him from possibly making the deal to end all deals in Hell.
So Alastor and Vox duked it out, and while Alastor did have greater demonic powers, he was ultimately thwarted by the combined efforts of Vox's alliance, which probably consists of a lot more than just the other two Vees. After which, in the ultimate irony, Alastor sold his soul to Lilith to maintain his demonic powers, just as Husk had once done with him.
With that established, I still think Alastor is the primary villain, and that, while he is indeed assisting the hotel at Lilith's command, his REAL intent is to form a soul-binding contract with Charlie that he will attempt to use as leverage, both over Lucifer, and to get out of his own contract with Lilith. And when he accomplishes this, that's when we'll see just what kind of "fun" he'd alluded to in the Stayed Gone number.
Thus far, we've only seen Alastor really lose his cool twice. The first was when Lucifer started offering his support, which would have rendered his own moot. If he genuinely did care about the Hazbin Hotel's success, either for his own reasons or because Lilith demanded it, he could have just sat back and let Lucifer do all the heavy lifting (and taken the blame for its failure). So he makes it pretty clear, IMO, that he only wants Charlie to succeed if he can be the one responsible for it.
The second was when Husk described him as also being on a leash. If he were working on his own or pledged his support just because Lilith asked him nicely, he probably would have shrugged that off no differently than when Vox or Sir Pentious were threatening him. Instead, he lashed out. Which tells me that Husk's description was A) on the nose, and B) not something Alastor entered into willingly.
If you'll pardon the Game of Thrones references, I more or less see Adam as being like the Night King, Lilith as Cersei, and Alastor as Dany. The first one SEEMS like the main villain, but he'll be the first one down. After which it'll look like Lilith is the main villain, at least until Alastor breaks his contract and burns down half of Pentagram City just for funsies, after which Charlie and the seraphim will team up and take him down.
The most logically thing to me is that Alastor wants Charlie as a bargaining chip with Lilith for his soul back. However, he likely didn’t expect Charlie to be so competent in her impossible task and come to him in desperation sooner. It seems no one expected her to get as far as she did and the meeting in episode 6 went about as well as it could sending decisive shock waves splitting heaven.
I can’t imagine Lilith based on what she is based on could have expected that either and whatever plot she has behind the scenes, whether it be war or something more subtle, is certainly not going according to schedule, but it could be very ahead of schedule or behind depending on what it is.
Something interesting about Lucifer and Lilith that i have noticed, Lucifer constantly looks guilty when he sees the happy picture on the wall of Lilith, Charlie and himself, it was not only that but Lucifer appears to still wear a wedding ring. I believe Lucifer still loves Lilith, its debatabke if she cares for him any longer, but it is still something to note
I also think Liliths absence has something to do with Alastor, after all that "Seven years" had been introduced as something significant though it is impossible to truly know

My vote is for Lilith to be the ultimate hero.
There is that potential. Considering how Adam was promising that the next Extermination that he'll be going straight for the hotel first. Charlie is powerful but she's effectively half-angel and likely isn't as powerful as other angels. Meanwhile, someone like Alastor might be able tip things in the hotel's favor in surviving the attack if it isn't called off for some reason or delayed.
Of course, that's assuming that Lilith is working towards the hotel's benefit.

I think this theory is believable not only because of that they are coming back after 7 years, but also in the first episode charlie calls her mum, and then 10 mi utes later the radio demon is offering to help her. And the fact that husk says to alastor that he’s on the leach also. Makes it very comprehensible
yes but think of this, why would the ONLY person who ever knew this be Husk of all people. this doesn't really add up since we know Alastor is not the type of person to leak any info especially something like this, pair this with the fact that Husk was a former overlord and Alastor's ties with a certain overlord makes me think that it's not Lilith but Rosie who owns Alastor's soul.

Alastor got all his power from being a cannibal and murderer on earth. Everytime he killed or ate someone he consumed their souls, which made him powerful from the beginning because he has already obtained ton's of souls. And the amount of souls you own is a power staple in hell. And we know this because the overloards own thousands of souls, like camila said during the meeting. Alastor is just becoming more powerful by the day because he keeps making these deals and stealing souls. He ALSO has possession of really powerful souls because he killed many overloards making him even more powerful. So you could say alastor earned his power but its really messed up in my oppinion.
Another theory is that alastor was chasing after a victum when a car hit a deer and the deer crushed him when he died (why he resembles a deer)

Was Lilith’s singing encouraging sinners to be better people or causing them to double down on their worst attributes? If the latter that may be why Heaven feared an uprising. I also can’t shake the feeling that the evil that spread after Eve at the fruit is a primordial entity of its own that would be released and destroy everything if enough negativity is accumulated.
Remember that Charlie did call Lilith, but she didn't answered, and from what Charlie said ih the messege she left, Lilith has'nt answered the phone for quite some time, so, yeah, she really is missing for 7 years, nobody talked or seen her so far.
One thing I would like to add because Lilith was the cause of the angels feeling threatened, but it was Lucifer that gave the go-ahead to the extermination in the first place. It's said by Lute in the first episode that Lucifer gave a pardon to all the "hellborn", which includes Charlie, possibly purely to protect her from the angels extermination. It's something Charlie obviously dislikes about her dad because in Dad Beat Dad she brings it up again as him just agreeing with killing everyone, which I feel may be a possible reason why Lilith and Lucifer drifted apart in the first place. So it would be interesting to see where Lilith does lie in the situation, if she is more of the "villain" in the situation who would risk her family to get at Heaven
My personal theory is that Lillith is planning to overtake heaven and hell (the true reason Sera is sending the exterminators to dwindle her forces) and sent Alastor to keep Charlie distracted and have the hotel to work as a diversion.....and also to fragment Lucifer and Charlie's relationship if he shows up. Both to sway Charlie easier and because he is #thatbitch and is a pissy ex😂

My feeling is that Lilith is the one embracing her demonic side. Lilith power is voice and Radio uses Sound wave to entrap sinners. Lilith is stronger than Alistar and Vox is the bottom of the barrel. Lilith has the power of the voice. Alistar needs the voice for Radio. Vox needs to have Radio waves. I see Lilith doesn't want to be redemption for the sinners. More sinners means more power for Lilith. The thing is Charlie favors Lucifer angelic side more than Lilith demonic side. The only trait I have seen so far is Charlie inherited Lilith talent for Singing and song making. Perhaps Lilith fears Charlie angelic side more than anything. The Overlords in hell on the whole don't want Redemption as viable option just for the same reason as Extermination it means less souls.

Alastor being under her "leash" makes sense, having someone in the hotel can be useful to separate Charlie and Lucifer, she also used singing to control hell plus having someone with power over radio can help spread her song 🎶📻, but I thought it could be Rosie the cannibal overlord. When Alastor was human he made a deal with her to give him power over the radio waves on earth and in return he would eat human and animal flesh to give her power, which was why he was killed by a hunter when he was too close to a deer 🦌, which is why he had antlers, but when he arrived he kept the deal but altered, to use the power he gained to take out the other lower overlords by eating them and broadcasting their screams to enhance his own power.
I think we also might have got our first look at leviathan at 02:15 episode 5 of hazbin hotel we can see a photo of lucifer with a character that looks like leviathan from the comics. I think that might be our first look at his cannon design. (Not sure if it is the first look of him)

I still feel bad for husker because he once was an Overlord but lost to Alastor and when he said how he was also someone’s lap dog or leash idk but seems like that really got Alastor angry.
I would love to explore Lucifer's background more--- like if any lore from the comics will end up staying cannon, and if he is an archangel, the highest rank of angels and basically the only sons of God. Even though he has 6 wings like seraphs, they're definitely much larger compared to his body size and a different overall shape than the seraphs. I would like to see how this angelic ranking may affect Charlie's overall power, as being the daughter of the highest ranked angel, and the first sinner-demon, etc.
I also cant wait to see Lillith make an appearance. While Lucifer seems stuck in depression, I would like to see Lillith's more graceful yet assertive personality by contrast, and perhaps see her display her power guiltlessly (maybe even take out another overlord with ease who crosses her).
