    This is Genius, seriously. Such a creative way of using technology to be more creative. I mean my mind is literally blown. It's like playing with yourself for the first time, nothing is quite the same after that. ha! But seriously, I use midi packs almost exclusively (Drummers are WAY too emotional) and have felt a bit stale. Easy to use, yep. Kinda sound like everyone else, yep. This has literally expanded the possible for me. Thanks so much!! On my way to watch the 2nd video now.

    Bought that skatepunk pack when I saw you using it in your livestream. This makes it even more awesome!

    I got your channel recommended by ableton's twitter today. Made my day... finally some bedroom producing stuff that's not for fukking EDM.

    Very cool way to make unique drum parts. Will be working on that this week.

    This might be a stupid noob question, but in the comping/take lanes work flow, I am trying to understand how to do the following as easily and intuitively as possible. Let's use a the ending drum fill from take #3 for example and say that we wanted to also insert that in the middle of the final composition as well. FYI I would want to do something like this for both midi instruments as well as actual audio recordings. What would be the most advisable way to do this in the program?
    Sorry for the basic question. I am new to Ableton and still trying to pull away from being a beginner with using DAWs.

    Nice one. Can you please make another songwriting livestream where you make a pop punk 200 bpm-ish song with vst plugins?

    is it possible to have a lane for each drum part, let's say one lane for the drum kick, another for the ride, etc, and all of them combined in the main Drums track? that would be great for export each part for mixing and mastering. thanks!

    • @JulianGrimmMusic
      @JulianGrimmMusic  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The lanes are exclusive. So you can’t play them all at the same time. The easiest thing is to just have your midi drums all in one track. Program them and comp them all in that one track. And once you’re done with that record each drum piece to separate tracks using the plug-in multiple outputs.

      @@JulianGrimmMusic can you please enlighten me about the process of splitting a midi drum into multiple tracks using that plugin? do you have any video on that topic? in the videos I've found it's mostly a manual process of copy, pasting, and deleting the notes. nothing is automated, which is pretty time-consuming. Thanks a lot and keep those videos coming!
