@NE VS, the best way, in my opinion, is to catch perch using the dropshot rig, using a small softbait 1-2 inches, with a 7 or 10 gram weight. Just give it a jerk sometimes, keep the top of the rod close to the water, and do not reel in the line fast, just a little slower than when you fish a crankbait. Good luck 🍀

Up in Canada Yellow Perch are common. Very beautiful, colorful fish, and they do taste amazing.
Today I found out that yellow and euro perch are different. One has one or multiple black stripes that are a “y”instead of an “l”
