Tuning a Concert Ukulele to low DGBE Baritone Ukulele tuning (Ohana Vita VKC-70)

I was curious whether a Baritone ukulele tuning (DGBE) would work on a Concert ukulele.
I used the A and D wound strings from a Classical Guitar set (D'addario Pro-Arte, Normal tension) and the B E strings are from Aquila's Tenor low-DGBE set. The Aquilas came with an unwound red low-G, but I think the wound sounds better.
I am quite impressed, it works really well and I'll probably keep this instrument tuned this way. The Ohana Vita Uke has a lot of low-end due to the large size of its body.
