Thanks we had a visionary PM like Nehruji in 1947 who helped India build a modern India based on science, technology, research and management. Nehru created IIT, IIM, NIT, AIIMS, DRDO, ISRO, SAIL, GAIL, Atomic Research center, Indian Nuclear Science program, Kendriya vidyalayas, Planning Commission, RBI, SBI, LIC. His love for children manifested as he created an ecosystem where children of that era like Dr Abdul Kalam, Azim Premji, Narayan Murthy, Ratan Tata , Amitabh Bachchan, Rajesh Khanna, Atal Vajpayee, Sunil Gavaskar, Kapil Dev, Milka Singh, Lata Mangeshkar n even poor people like Narendra Modi got a free n fair opportunity to excel in their respective fields of business, science, technology, movies, music n even politics. This had not happened in last 10,000 years of documented Indian history which he himself summarised in Bharat ek Khoj (Discovery of India).

for some reasons i have tears seeing him. as a child i can see him like as a grandfather, as a young adult i can see him as a visionary and as a mature man i can see him as a statesman and a educationist. its painful to see many ill-mannered people trying to malign his image who cant even match even 0.001 percent of him.

My grandmother had seen Nehru when he came to their remote village school. She still remembers him, and adores his leadership. She still remembers the song they sang for him when he visited. It was a local song composed locally. No big poet wrote it. Simple folk did. That was the organic love Nehru got from people.
