Love bolt action, dropped 40k to make it my game so glad to see MWG playing a few games of it :) worth noting, you need to be regular or veteran to use a spotters special line of sight rules so although inex mortar can get a spotter, by the rules can't actually use it to gain line of sight (pg 71 of rule book, text box about spotters for reference).

Early in you had soviets ignoring cover because they were against it and a different modifier for those behind it. The rule is the squad uses the cover modifier that would apply to most of the minis in the unit.

Glad to see some bolt action going on :) HE against units in buildings was FAQd so although those units don't get a cover modifier because you are firing at the building but they do get the small team and/or down modifier as the target is harder to see.

This is a common mistake made about shooting “at” the building. It should have been supers, move, small team hard cover.

@@chrisreed7273 errata page 4, "This means you ignore any to-hit penalties for cover. All other modifiers apply..." as you state a common mistake.
