So this same Hamilton wrote a constitution which ( now ) does not allow a convicted felon to vote but would allow a convicted mass murderer already in jail to run for and be elected President of the United States.
The only conditions ( now )for running for and being President are being over 34 years old, born in the US and resident in the US for at least 14 years . What a noodle Hamilton and his mates were : allowing the conditions to be perfect for children to be subject to mass shootings ( second amendment, and bill of rights) , providing for judges to be partizan political appointments ( article 3) creating a Supreme Court ( also politically appointed) to be able to ignore, reinterpret or strike down any element of their constitution ( article 3 ) etc etc. Hamilton, despite his 'wise' words and the others appear to have been irresponsible nut jobs

He worked as a prosecutor at an International Court called the ICC ( International Criminal Court) for four years only, out of a 26 year legal prosecutorial! career.
So he has had 22 years as a prosecutor in the USA. I am sure he gained very useful experience as well as a prosecutor at the International Criminal Court based in the Hague.
Mr Smith was born and brought up in NYC ( which is in the USA I believe) got his Law Degree at Harvard ( which is American I believe) He started his legal career as an assistant district attorney in Manhattan ( USA , I think) in 1998
he climbed up the ranks of the US attorney's office in Brooklyn, where he pursued violent gangs, white-collar fraudsters and public corruption cases.
In 2008, Mr Smith went overseas to The Hague in the Netherlands where he oversaw war crimes investigations as a junior investigator for the International Criminal Court, which is NOT a foreign national court.
It is International like the United Nations.
He returned to the justice department in the USA two years later ( in 2010), as chief of the department's public integrity unit, which prosecutes federal crimes such as public bribery and election fraud.
In 2015 he took a post with the federal prosecutor's office in Nashville.
He was in the ICC again from 2018 to January 2021 when he returned to the USA. ( info source BBC )
Mr Smith would appear to be a very well qualified, experienced American prosecutor.

They want to get rid of the person because they're good at their job.
