Why Clowns Aren't Scary
Pennwise, the scary clown from the IT movie franchise, is all geared up for another spooktacular halloween. But when he tries to scare Davis, he learns about the current state of the youth and why clowns just aren't as scary as they used to be in modern society. I guess creepy clowns from recent movies like pennywise and the joker might have to start looking for work...

1:12 - If I remember correctly, this is actually addressed in the book. It's mentioned that one of the reasons Pennywise rarely goes after adults is because their fears are much more abstract and complex than children's, whose fears take more physical forms like monsters.

Loved this, really enjoyed the introspection. I’m guessing a lot of folks (me included) have conversations with fictional characters in their minds where they explain their thoughts regarding this, that and the other thing. It was fun to see that concept brought to life like this.

The reason why penny wise chose the clown form was so he could lure kids into his traps. Except Richie. He usually took the form of a werewolf for him as werewolfs scared him more than clowns.

@@vivas555 That's the gist of it. There is also alot of underage sex involved. I like the connected universe stuff he's done. The way the Mist connects it all and then it turns into a sci-fi epic with the dark towers stuff. I just find his writing spotty, some books I love and others I struggle to get through, but his concepts are really cool.

It's in one part and though you might be offput by it..there was a reason that the KIDS decided to do so.
In their minds, not yet adult minds..and that part of the book is told in the mindset of being part of a group of kids...kids don't always make the most mature decisions. And also they THINK they are, but it's only from the understanding of their age.
In their minds..knowing they needed to...understand each other to higher levels. Being close enough to kinda have a link....and they took that as, many adults would say, sex. You will always have a bond with the first person you ever had sex with. And being that they were friends already, having sex would be that EXTRA link..the for sure link. The bond that will makes sure they don't lose each other.

Get a job for rent, or just live in a vehicle. Don't go to college. Depression is almost a bullshit thing. Learning that you can't change the past and that you can move foreward while paying close attention, and listening to that inner voice, in the present will easily make you sidestep depression....which most times is just someone seeking sympathy for feeling bad...everyone feels bad about something. Move on with your life.
Life is meaningless by itself. It's what you make out of itl that gives it meaning.

We don’t even know what’s it’s real name is to begin with. But It shares a lot of similarities with the Crimson Queen from Stephen’s King’s Multiverse to not be the same female spider that could shape shift and is in hiding from Merlin after been pregnant by King Arthur. After all in “Insomnia” the son of the Crimson Queen, The Crimson King went to Derry after IT was killed, pay respects to it’s mother? After all, beside Pennywise, the Crimson King is the only other Were-Spider that can use the Deathlights. But you are absolutely right if we are talking about the movie version.
